Chapter 8

Charli P.O.V

Skip until Saturday ***

Today was the day of Chloe's party. It started at 7:30 but I was already at her house to help set up. Since there was mostly fourteen year olds there was not alcohol. But the amount of food she bought was crazy. 10 large pizzas, 10 boxes of wings, tons of donuts she had everything you could imagine. There was also drinks if anyone got thirsty. There was so many activities to do. It looked like a high school party. It was now 7:00 after everything was set up. "Hey Charli are you going to be okay," She said concerned.

Flash back*****

Chloe had throne a party and I was helping set up. But then people started coming in. I thought I would be fine. No one would bullie people at a party. But just to be safe I tried to stay out of sight. Soon after everyone was there I was on the floor being kicked and punched and being called names. I was not very confident, I could have toke down all of them but I didn't want to be the bad person. After they were done I ran to Chloe's room which was off limits. I knew she had a razor some where in here. I found the razor and snapped it in half. I started cutting and cutting. I cut really deep but some how it didn't affect me. Chloe came rushing in and she took the razor and started bandaging me up but the last thing I saw was blood lots of Blood. I woke up a half an hour later.

End of Flash back****

I got out of my thoughts when Chloe was waving her hand in font of my face. "Yep I should be fine and plus I can take them just like at lunch," I said confident. It was noe 7:30 woah I must have been in my thought for a while. People stated to come in. Connor came in and immediately ran to me and hugged me. "I missed you," he said in my ear. "Connor it hasn't even been a day but I missed you too," I said holding in a laugh. Chloe put on the music which was my job to watch the music and make sure that it was music everyone enjoyed. One by one all my freinds came in and started "partying". Everyone was having a great time even me. Then I realised that Chloe, Bennett and Connor were missing so I decided to look for them. I ran to Chloe's room after searching the first floor. I ran into her and Bennett having a full on make out session. "I will just leave," I said as I darted out of the room. I heard noises in her hall closet so I decided to check in there. But I couldn't believe what I saw. I was Connor and another girl kissing. I couldn't see the girl except for her hair. "I could you!!" I said on the verge of crying. I ran out of the house I could hear my name being called but I didn't listen I just ran.

Connor P.O.V

I can't believe I just did that. But I didn't.

Flash back to when they went missing****

"Hey Connor can I talk to in private?" Gen asked from behind me. "Yep," I said agreeing. We went into the hall closet so no one can hear us. She stated babbling on and on. I didn't pay attention all I could think about was Charli's birthday. I want to me it special. "Hello are even listening, fine I will just do this," Gen said as she kissed me. I tried to pull away but then the door opened and I heard Charli say something. She sounded like she was going to cry and never stop. I ran after her put she was too fast. She is not even that fast of a runner but I guess when you are sad, angry all emotions you are going to run faster. I knew I screwed everything up.

Present time an hour after****

She is never going to forgive me. I ruined everything. She has to come back to Chloe's house because she is staying over. I'm going to stay here until she comes back. "Connor you have to leave the party is over," Chloe instructed. "I'm not leaving until she comes back," I snapped.

Charli P.O.V

I ran until I couldn't. I realised that I was a the park. I sat down on one of the benches and just started to cry. I felt like a sat there for ages until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked up to see an older guy. It was hard to see who it was because of how dark it was. "Why are you crying ohhh where are my manners My name is Josh Bradley," he said in a sweet tone. "Josh Bradley the famous youtuber seeing me as a mess this day couldn't get any worse,"I said hiding my face. "Don't hide, but I still want to know why are you crying," Josh asked incouraging me to answer. I looked up to see his beautiful hazel eyes. "My boyfriend just cheated on me," I confessed. "Now who would cheat on a pretty girl like you and yes I know you are under age," he said in is gorgeous voice. "Thanks but I'm not pretty I should know I get beat for not being pretty," I said confessing my whole story. "Who beats you and is that why you have bruises and scratches," he said surprised. "To answer you first question it is my whole family and a few people at school, and to answer your second question yes but these scratches are from myself," I answered pulling up my sleeve to show my wrists.

He ran his finger over the scars. After a long silence that he broke by saying "You shouldn't be treated this way and please don't harm your self," he said I know feeling sorry. "You don't have to be nice to me I'm just a girl you met on the streets and by the way my name is Charli," I said. I hate when people feel sorry for me I don't know why. "I would hope we can be friends? "He asked. "Sure," I answered." Now I would like to drive you home and I would like your phone number please," he asked. I gladly gave him my phone number and he did the same. I told him I was staying at a friend's house tonight. He said that was fine as I gave him the directions. We hoped into his car and drove to Chloe's. He insisted that he met Chloe and walked my to the front door. He was so kind. We quickly got there because it wasn't that far. We got out of the car and knocked on the front door.

I was surprised when Connor swung the door open. I started crying, I couldn't face him. Well not yet. Josh quickly pulled me into a hug as I cried into his chest. I heard them taking but I didn't hear all of it. All I heard was. "You should leave," Josh said. "She is my girlfriend,perve!" Connor snapped. "Boyfriends don't cheat on their girlfriends, so now leave," Josh said grinding his teeth. "Fine but I will talk to her if you like it or not," Connor said as he stormed out of the house. I looked up at Josh and he looked down and we locked eyes. "This might sound weird but can I stay with you today?" He asked shyly. "I guess so as long as Chloe agrees," I said as I heard footstep. "I don't care but Bennett is here as well," she yelled I think from the kitchen she must had been spying.

Since he couldn't lift me since I'm over weight he just followed me to the living room. "Hi I'm Bennett Charli's friend and Chloe's boyfriend," Bennett said as he stood up from the couch and held out his hand. "Hello I'm Josh Charli's new freind and protector,"Josh said proud as he shook the other boys hand. "I'm Chloe Charli's friend, Bennetts girlfriend and head cheerleader," Chloe said as she sat down on the couch. "Well you already know who I am," Josh said smiling. Me and Josh sat beside Chloe and Bennett sat on a chair since Chloe took his spot. After an hour of use talking and laughing we decided it was time to go to bed. Me and Josh went to the spare room and the couple went to Chloe's room. "So do you want to share a bed," I said as I raised my eyebrows. "Sure we can cuddle," Josh said exited. He got into the bed and under the covers as I went to the bathroom to change. When I came out he had my computer in front of him and a free space for me to lay. I laid down and put in my password and went on to Netflix because I knew that what he wanted. I cuddled into his chest on put on the movie he wanted and soon sleep took over me.
