"I'm so sorry about what my daughter said," my mom said while putting the turkey on the table. I sat right next to my dad and Jake's brother, who is George. He's 10 and he's flirting with me, and I'm disgusted so I throw up a little in my mouth. After I said "The Word" in front of the Goldberg's and Jake's girlfriend my mom has giving me "The Look," but my dad just keeps giggling about how funny it is. I mean it just came out of my mouth, on accident. It's been a half-hour since that happened and I got to know about Jake. I found out he plays on the Basketball Team called, "The Golden Goats" which is the dumbest name ever. Also, Jake is rich, and is very famous around the school. Not my type, so his girlfriend, Megan, can have him.
"Oh its OK, Brenda," Mr. Goldberg said," teenagers curse all the time, and she just met us, so their will probably be more name calling in the future." I blushed because that is probably true, dang the Goldberg's can really read the "Teenage" mind.
"OK, if you say so...," my mom was confused because she never heard any parent say that. She sat back down in her seat that was between my dad and Mrs. Goldberg.
Megan looked at me, "So, Samantha, I was wondering, what activists are you into?" I thought Megan hated me since I said "Shit" right at her face, but then I realized, maybe a funny brunette like me can become really good friends with a blonde princess like Megan?
"I'm into theatrical kind of of stuff, choir, and Tennis," I smiled because those where all the stuff I'm goo at.
"Well isn't that wonderful!!!" Mrs. Goldberg cheered, "I use to be in Musicals and Plays, to, when I was your age." She smiled and then took a sip of her wine. The rest of the night, The Goldberg's talked about sports and the community, which I didn't care about, so I kind of fell asleep in till my dad kicked me to wake up. But there was something weird about their other son, besides him flirting with me, he was quiet all night like their family was hiding something, but I bet Megan didn't know.
When the Goldberg's went home, I went upstairs to my room about the Goldberg's, so I found out that they became rich because their great ancestor was the first one to find this beautiful place, but didn't claim it because he knew he would go crazy. So, he became the second richest man here in this city. Honestly, they're hiding something else. I looked up about George and found only positive things about him. So, I looked up Jake, as it turns out he has a drug problem, I wasn't shocked. When we were eating he tried to grab his mom's wine but she wacked his hand. I knew something was messed up about their family!!! Well, I'm going to be nice, but tomorrow I have to got to school, so that's why I put my PJ's on and closed my eyes and went to bed.
