Heya :) So here's the next bit.

Hope ya enjoy. XOXO

-------

I wonder now. What would be the best way for the world to end. There are so many possibilities! But I'm not thinking about this. Well, not then anyway. After all, it's a pretty depressing thought; the whole world dying. I was thinking of the math test coming up.

I hear a constant beeping noise of a truck backing up, with the shouts of a man, which caused my thoughts to quickly disperse. When I glance to look, I see a large crate, boarded up with had, dark plywood. The words VERY FRAGILE are written in bright red on all sides in capital letters with an underline. A janitor was directing the driver to back up with caution. I watch them in amusement as they shout back and forth until I hear a loud crack, following with a thump.

My heart leaps at the sound as I take a step back from the rail, my heart too thumping with surprise. What was that?  I wonder. I reach out to grab the railing once again, as I see both the driver and man look at each other and then the box with confusion, their faces of frustration mirroring the other perfectly.

"What is it supposed to be?" I hear the man ask. By this time, I should have already gotten out of there. Away from that box. Of course, I just didn't know. Nobody did.

"It's s'posed to be some smart board thing for teachers," the driver replies, scratching the back of his sweaty bald head.

There is another large thud that comes from the box. They suspiciously look at the crate.

"Do you think we can open it now?" he asks shakily. The other shrugs. The janitor pulls out a hammer from his tool belt and uses the back of it. As the wood starts to chip off, breaking away from the crate, a splintering crack sounds as one wall breaks and hits the ground, puffy popcorn balls coming out.

A groan emanates from the box as there is a slight ruffle of popcorn. My heart's pulse starts to quicken as I grip the hand rails tighter, until my knuckles turn white. The feeling of something bad happen hits me like a blow to the chest. I am afraid.

Just at this moment, a hand shoots up and grabs the janitor's wrist. The janitor cries out in pain and surprise as another sharp crack fills me with dread, his hand soon limp. The janitor tries desperately to pull back, using all of his strength which brings him to the ground, bringing the thing holding him up into view.

I gasp at the being's grotesqueness. It seemed to have once been human. There are long, deep gashes on the side of its flimsy arms. There is blood clotting on its clothes and skin, which is dry and wrinkly, shriveled nastily. Its face had a broken nose and bleeding, sharp teeth was missing. He had bloodshot eyes, bulging out of his face. Eye color was a dull gray.

"What the hell!" the janitor shouts as the driver watches wide eyed. The janitor turns to look at the driver as the monster swiftly sinks its nasty teeth into the janitor's skin. Blood starts to gush out of the bite wound and I gasp, wide eyed as he wails.

"Bill, please help me! I beg you!" the janitor pleads. Tears well up and fall out of his eyes. However, Bill instead shifts the car into drive as the monster hisses at the car's sound.

I lurch backward, stumbling until my knees give out and I fall to the ground, shaking. I feel my heart thumping, the blood pulsating in my body. My clammy hands break my fall as I breathe extremely heavily. I no longer hear the janitor's cries.
