The Land of Rain's cities/towns:

Leader: Pain/Pein
Homes: The homes in this village are either apartments or rather small houses. Since it is a city there are many towers and sky scrappers and such for apartment buildings. If you prefer a better home, closer to the ground, it will be rather small. The apartments actually seem bigger.
The Land: The land is surrounded by buildings and concrete though there is a nice dock with a pretty ocean view. There isn't much to the land other than that.
Academy: The academy teaches basics for genin in training just like any other academy. All academy students are guaranteed success as ninja and all ninja work together to protect their village and the people in it.
Shops/Markets: There are a lot of shops and markets in town, either in buildings and such but mostly outside in booths. The marketers always have fresh produce and proteins. The prices have gotten a bit lower and less expensive thanks to Lord Pein.
Entertainment/hang out/religious areas: The biggest and pretty much only land mark is Pein's tower, where it is said Pein himself lives. There is a special shrine dedicated to lady angel and lord Pein for the religious areas. It is also said that hanging an oragami angel on your door or wall will bring you good luck and peace. The best hangout areas would have to be the docks where you can fish or the movie theaters which is also great entertainment.
Weather Conditions: It's usually always raining in the hidden rain and on rare days when it is not raining it's still cloudy. On extra rare days when the clouds open up and let in light, you get to see beautiful rainbows.
Resturants: There are a few fancy restaurants in this city though there are also places fun enough for families that have great sushi, dango, ramen, you name it!
Hospitals/dental care/doctors: There are a few good dentists around along with doctors. The hospitals are full of med ninja for emergencies and such. Especially if the land became the war zone again.
