Bella took the freshly made dough and pressed into it. The dough, it was soft. It was was easy to touch. It was tempting. She pressed a little firmer on the dough this time but still treating it delicately. She hesitated for a moment. Only one second though. Bella was nervous. It was her first. She never made a calzone in her life. She was scared about the calories but decided it would be worth it. She pushed the dough one more time, hoping not to make it flat.

Bella walked over to the fridge and opened the door. The fridge seemed to meet with her excitement by letting out a cold breeze. She reached behind a milk jug and pulled out a bag of pepperoni slices. Then she opened the cheese compartment. She  rummaged through the cheese and finally found the mozzarella. Slowly she placed them both onto the counter next to the dough. Very soon after, she found some vegetables to go in her calzone. Her stomach seemed to rumble with joy.

She preheated the oven to around 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Then she started putting on small shredded pieces of mozzarella cheese down. On top of the that she spread out the pepperoni. Once that was done she put in a few vegetables only to fill it with more cheese. Bella took one last glance at the uncooked calzone and decided it was time. She folded the dough on top of itself and crimped the edge.   It was ready to bake.

The oven beeped showing it was heated and ready. Bella steadily, using nothing but a pan and tin foil to keep it in place, put the calzone in the oven. The smell spread through the kitchen filling Bella with hope. She just had to wait 15 minutes.
