Eating the Calzone

The calzone was done cooking. The crust was a beautiful golden brown. There was steam rising from the crust. Bella was going to soon take her first bite but first a drink. She went to the fridge and grabbed the milk carton. She brought the rim up to her lips but then put it back. She remembered she was lactose intolerant. She knew now she would regret putting so much cheese in the calzone. Actually, she didn't care. It was so worth it.

She picked up the delicate glass plate holding the even more delicate calzone. Bella walked over to the dining room table and placed the plate down. The whole room began to smell like the calzone. She sat down in a chair and looked deeply at the calzone. All her thoughts only directed towards it. Bella's stomach seemed to cry out in hunger as she picked the calzone up.

She took one small bite. The taste was exotic. It was nothing like what she has ever had before. The taste flooded her mouth. Some of the grease got onto her hands making it a little slippery. The sauce was dripping out the sides of the calzone. Bella took another larger bite. The cheese was so majestic. It  stretched out farther and farther. Then it snapped. Bella now knew what she wanted in life. She wanted to be the best calzone maker in history.

She took a few more bites and it was over. Her stomach felt so pleased, her taste buds were still over flooding with joy. Bella would make more calzones one day but she would never forget her first one. Bella felt accomplished. Happy with her life. Who needed an existential crisis when there were calzones. This by far was, the best day of her life.

The End :)

2/2           P.S. If anyone actually read this whole thing, thanks. I hope this inspired you to make a calzone. Other than the dough, the first chapter basically tells you how to make one. Have a good day.

Also this is dedicated to all the wasted and thrown away calzones. R.I.P.
