Chapter 2

Mephisto POV

It was only yesterday I found Amaimon acting strange, but i haven't found out why yet. I looked out my window to find Amaimon and a girl sitting in a tree talking. She stood and waved and leaped of the tree, leaping tree to tree. I teleported there and sat next to Amaimon.

 "Who was that?" I asked curious. "Oh, a friend of mine, her name is B.B." I nodded as he continued, "You know Behemoth?" I nodded,

Behemoth's his "Pet" Demon Hobgoblin. He continued, "Behemoth's sister, Bay-gene, is B.B's pet Hobgoblin. So we hang out while the siblings hang out." he finished and I was shocked. "O-oh. It was disappointing, the fact he never told me about anything going on in his life.

Amaimon POV

I began to get up when I flinched, and put my hand on my stomach, the pain had not yet went away.

Flash Back!!!

"Behemoth! What's wrong?" I asked as I reached out to stroke him as I normally do to calm him down, but this time it was different. He was not mad, he was protecting, i reached out further, then the unexpected happened, he lashed at my with his claws, scratching my abdomen. I flinched, not just the pain of the wound, but my trust and love for him to do this. That's what hurt most.

 Amaimon POV

Mephisto reached out to help me but I smacked him away, "Some King you are." I said hatefully. He looked hurt, "You're the King Of Time! But you weren't there in time to help me, you just think of yourself, I've been alone since we were little. And it took you 2,037 years to finally realize I was different! That I was HURT!" I  screamed crying, I unbuttoned my shirt to reveal bandages wrapping around my chest.

Blood still seeping through it, Mephisto's eyes widened in terror as I began to rip the bandages off. Showing the huge cuts and all the crimson covering me, I pierced my own flesh with my nails, I was going crazy, balling, I fell to my knees and cried. Still having my sharp blade-like nails piercing into my flesh.

Mephisto ran over to me and cried, "I-I'm so sorry Amaimon. You think I didn't care? I just been caught up in so many things! But, I promise It will never happen again. I-I love you, Amaimon." He cried, pleading for forgiveness. I hugged back and apologized for going nuts and cutting myself.

He stood up and wrapped me up in his cape, "I can't! It'll get stained and ruined!" I said confused. "So? You're way more important than a cape! And besides, I don't want my little brother to get sick out here in the cold!" He smiled cheerfully. I smiled back and we made our way back to Aniki's house.
