A whimper escapes my lips as I feel wetness coming back to my eyes. I was in Hawaii. I was 2,467 miles away from my family, friends, my home. I threw the clothes you gave me onto the bed and turned away from you.
"You're a monster." I whisper harshly.
"What?"
I turn back to you, cheeks wet and eyebrows knitted.
"You're a monster!" I yell in your face.
You step back and look at me with something, disappointment. You shake your head and begin to speak.
"Let's go outside." You say softly.
I shake my head violently almost wanting to laugh. I wasn't gonna do everything you said. That's what you wanted. No, I'm not giving up yet.
"No."
You stare back at me, your expression changing from disappointment to anger. I was scared, but I tried my best to not let it show. I couldn't hold it in any longer as you took a step towards me. I fell back onto the bed with a scream. You stopped and cussed under your breath.
"Willow, I'm not trying to scare you...please just come outside with me." You said looking down at me.
I got myself together and slowly got off the bed. You stepped back and nodded towards the clothes you gave me. I took a deep breath and grabbed them. I stood there and waited for you to go. You didn't. You just stood there staring at me with those green eyes. The eyes I still loved, but wouldn't admit to it.
"oh- sorry, I'll leave." You said rubbing the back of your neck, turning a light shade of red.
As you left I couldn't understand what just happened. You left me to change, and blushed while doing it. I've watched the crime shows...the kidnapper doesn't do that, right? They creepily stay and watch the girl or boy get undressed. Never show real human emotions except for the joy of another one's suffering. Then, I figured it out. It was all an act, and you were good. Acting like the good guy, innocent. Get me to trust you and boom, take me down. I wasn't gonna fall for it.

I finally walked out and I immediately shield my eyes away from the harsh sun. Beads of sweat already forming on my skin. I jumped when I hear a loud bang, over and over. I looked around for you immediately. Was that your weapon? Is it time now? You were gonna kill me. I quickly got into a sprint. I wasn't a very fast person and running in sand just slows me down even more. Plus, the sand was burning and I had no shoes.
"Willow!"
I heard your voice behind me which motivated me to keep running. I looked back and saw that you were right behind me. I started to feel my breathing increase drastically. I felt myself start to get light headed and knew I wasn't gonna last any longer. I quickly thought and looked up. I hopped onto a palm tree and climbed my way up. A sudden boost of arm strength that I didn't know I had. I climb all the way to the top and see that you are at the bottom of the tree, looking up at me.
"You know, you're very hard to keep still." You say with a soft chuckle.
Your mouth curved into a nice grin. It looked as if that kind of smile shouldn't belong to you. You're supposed to have an ugly, creepy smile, but you didn't. It was nice. You had perfectly straight white teeth and, plump pink lips. I couldn't help but wanting to slap myself for even thinking about that.
"Don't kill me." I say in almost a whisper. You looked back up at me with wide eyes, your grin quickly vanishing.
"Like I said earlier, and I will say it as many more times as you want me to, I'll never hurt you." You said shaking your head.
I still sit up in the tree, my breath still heavy. I don't know what to do. Do I get down? Or do I not trust you and stay up here?
"Please come down." You say softly.
I finally give in and slip down the tree. I land softly and you're right there, looking down at me.
"Why did you run?"
"I....heard a bang. Thought you were gonna-"
"Kill you? Never. Please stop thinking that way."
"What other way am I supposed to think? You lured me in, drugged me, and took me away from my family! W-what do you want from me!" I yell falling to my knees.
I pull my knees to my chest and sob into them. You sigh and take a seat next to me. I scoot away making a very big distance between us.
"Yeah, I did all these things, but I only did it to save-"
"Don't you fucking dare say save me! You saved me from nothing!" I yell surprising myself. I've never cursed really, but I had every right to this time.
"You don't understand-"
"Enlighten me then." I say coldly, not looking your way.
You sigh, shuffling in your spot. I took my head out of my knees and looked out to the ocean. Trying to look at anything but you.
"Maybe another time. You should probably get some rest." You finally say.
I shake my head and get up. I had a massive headache and sleep actually wasn't that bad of an idea. I didn't think I would be getting any though.
"I should probably show you around the house." You say getting up as well, taking a few steps in front of me.
You start walking, but I don't move. You get a foot in front of me until you realise I wasn't following. You stopped, looked to me and waited. I slumped my shoulders and gave in. You continued to lead me into the large house.
It was built from hardwood and glass windows. Pretty fancy to be out on an island if you ask me. Did you build this or- well, you would of had to. Why in hell would there be this nice of a house in the middle of nowhere?
"This is the kitchen. You're welcome to any food in the cabinets." You said gesturing towards them.
"What about when we run out? Then you'll have to go buy more and that means go to an actual town-"
"I have a whole shed outside full of food. It will at least last us about 3 years or more." You said walking down the hallway.
I swallowed down the sickness in my throat that was dangerously close to escaping my mouth. You lead me up the stairs shortly after you quickly showed me the living room. We take a turn and I recognise the door to the room I woke up in.
"This is your room, for now." You said the last part quietly but I heard. The sickness quickly coming back to me.
I looked at the room and saw the beautiful painted butterflies on the walls. I opened my mouth slightly to ask you something but quickly closed it. I just followed you down another hallway.
"Finally, this is my room. You're welcomed in it anytime. Just knock." You said with a small smile opening the double doors.
Your room was the biggest and most glorious. You had a king sized bed with tropical designs on it. You had creme walls and a big balcony. I looked around and tried to keep my expression blank. On the inside though, I was in complete awe.
"Well, that's the tour. I guess I'll let you go to bed now. Want me to walk you back to your room?"
Your green eyes stared into mine waiting for an answer. I quickly shook my head and just backed out of your room. You nodded and reached behind you grabbing a lantern off your coffee table. You handed it to me, you already had lit it.
"Use this, we don't have electricity out here." You said and I slowly grabbed it.
I quickly turned on my heels and made my way down the hallway toward my room. Before I reached my door, I looked back at you. You had a sad expression on your face, but when my eyes met yours you gave me a small smile. I turned away quickly and shut my door. I tore off my clothes and put on an oversized t-shirt that was laid in the drawers. I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep, sniffles escaping my nose.
