Crysella Ariela
Today was surprisingly and horribly turning out the way I expected it to be. A lot of work has been given to me on the first day which I find very exhausting but aside from that everything is turning out to be fine.
As I was striding across the plain but classy looking hall with a stack of documents that needs attention for signing by a specific person, I accidentally bumped into a young woman as I round a corner to the right. The files fell from my hold as I screamed profanities inside my head. She apologized a lot of times and helped me pick up the files while I thanked her quietly. She grabbed the last document and stood up while I followed suit.
Handing me the files while apologizing one more time, I smiled at her in understanding as I reach out for the files."Please forgive my clumsiness"
I shook her hand when she extended it as a sign of greeting. "Apology accepted, I am Crysella by the way"
She smiled warmly at me and introduced herself. "I'm Roselia, but you can call me Rosie. I'm not prying but I just wan't to ask if who you may be looking for. I can help since I have been working here for 7 years."
I mentally thanked her for being my savior because God knows how long I've been walking just to look for this person. "Oh thank you so much, I was wondering where I could find Sir Jake Collins? I have to let him sign all of these." I asked as I gestured to the stack of files.
"Oh Sir Collins! of course, come follow me."
Since, the elevator is out of order. We took the stairs. Stairs, Who else loves stairs? I wonder who does, not me for sure. And damn it's a long way up there. But who cares, at least I get to meet my devilishly gorgeous boss
Oh goodness me! What am I thinking. I should be professional about this and not daydreaming about my boss.
There is no denying though that he is some fine adonis--
I was so lost in my thoughts when Rosie waved her hand, looking worried.
"Oh hey, what were you saying? Sorry I just have a lot of things on my mind." I said sheepishly at her. You mean your boss?
Oh shut it conscience!
"Oh that's okay! everyone is very busy. Anyways, we are already here and oh, can I ask a favour?" She was spacing for a minute as she mentioned that everyone is very busy. I wonder what was that about.
"Ask away"
"Our lunch starts at 12:30 and it's nearly 10. Would you like to eat with me? I also have a lot of friends that are going to be joining with me if that is okay with you?"
"Of course!"
"Great! See you in the cafeteria."
"Yeah and thank you Rosie."
She smiled happily at me and nodded. What a nice girl. Turning my attention to the files on both of my hands. Oh shoot!
I knocked three times as I heard a faint 'come in'. I opened the door and went inside.
"Good morning Sir Collins. I am the new secretary of Sir Solas and he told me to let you sign these files."
Sir Collins was maybe in his late thirties as he waved his hand over his desk indicating that I will just leave the files there.
I nodded and placed it as I said my goodbye and walked out of his office.
