House of composure
Stood so stiff
The strongest winds
Would not shake you
The toughest hammer
could not break you
with the tallest walls
no one was let in
But now
You are broken
House of composure
where is you posture?
whom stood so firmly
will now break so easily
The unshakable
Was shaken
House of composure
you let down your walls,
only to be broken from the inside
The toughest earthquake
could not move you,
Now the smallest push
shall break you
Push
House of composure
Where is your posture?
Was it bent by the thing
That destroyed your halls?
The biggest storm
Could not erode you
Now the smallest drizzle
Will drift you away
Drift
House of composure
Where is your posture?
Is it gone with the creature
That broke you
down to mere rubble
Till you were
No more than your steel frame?
House of composure
Where is your posture
Will you ever go back
To whom you once were?
Or will you stay
a desolate sorrow
Merely a skeleton
Of your former self?
Oh house of composure
Where is your posture!?
You stood so tall
But now
you have crumbled.
A tragic end to
the house of
Composure
