A/N: sorry for the wait! :') I had no inspiration. Then suddenly, at 5 am, a spark of inspiration came towards me.

Lee's POV -

I somehow managed to get 14.0 to the nurse. With the help of our schools friendly, but creepy, janitor, Micheal.

We arrived to the nurses office, Micheal quickly returned to cleaning the restrooms in the main entrance.

"Lee," Nurse Anna gave me a curious look through the top of her glasses. Oh boy, here it comes... "Who is this boy exactly?"

"A new student." I lied straight through my teeth. Lying, a bad habit I have picked up over the years. "His names Jordan Moretti, you know, Kyle's brother?" I was hoping to get her mind off 'Jordan'.

"Ah," she said taking off her glasses, "That boy is so smart, didn't he get the top scores in our district? His brother must be as smart as him—"

"I hate to intrude but um, shouldn't you begin to help him? And not talk about Kyle?" I didn't want to hear anything about Kyle right now.

"Oh, goodness me!" she said, quickly putting her glasses back on, scrambljng up from her desk. "You're right! Wait here for him. I won't be long, promise."

I hadn't waited long before the door to the nurses office opened. I didn't look up, "Nurse Ana will be a minute. She's got a patient right now."

No reply.

I looked up. I saw Kyle. He was leaning against the wall. His broken wrist, arm? I don't know, well whatever he broke, was just hanging there. I felt a little bad... Saying those things to Kyle. He was right, 14.0 is out to kill me. And Kyle. Mostly kyle — but, I can't help but think there's some good, some where deep, deep down in his heart or whatever.

I sighed and put my head in my hands, which wasn't a good idea, I bit my lip to keep from crying out in pain. I quickly touched my shoulder, but that hurt me too.

"... Is your shoulder okay?" Kyle mumbled. I looked up at him. He wasn't looking at me, he seemed very fascinated in the dumb pictures the nurse had hanging up, I think he was looking at one about the respiratory system.

"Yeah... I'm good. How about your arm?" I wanted to tell him sorry. I wanted him to tell me sorry, I wanted so many things to be said. I wanted. But of course, I couldn't get my way.

"I'm—"

Nurse Ana came in, "He should be fine Lee, just has a bump on his head. Gave him some ice, he should—" her eyes met Kyle's. "Oh my goodness! What happened?"

Kyle lied without skipping a beat. "I ran into a locker," he laughed a bit. "I'm such a clumsy person sometimes." He smiled at her, one of his 'charming' smiles. The one that makes you forget about the conversation.

Kyle was a big influence on my nasty lying habit.

The nurse shook her head. "You have to be careful, Kyle," she didn't by that, did she? "Come with me, I'll fix you up." she did.

Kyle looked at me once more. "Coming nurse Ana." He looked away. He kept walking til he got into a different room. He never once said a word to me. It was like we hadn't spoke at all. Like he didn't know me.

And I don't know why, but in that moment, my chest began to ache.
