Hey, just a little note from the authour here! This chapter is dramatically longer than the others and I know I'm not updating a lot but I am trying and I'm so grateful for the reads on this book too! I really hope you enjoy this chapter!

After the meeting, Blaise was worried like mad. She was not focused on anything. During her lessons throughout the week she slept or stared out the window, pondering and questioning. No one seemed supportive of her. She was alone in her thoughts.
Seven days after the meeting Imogen approached her. Silently she gave Blaise a stick, but this stick looked seemingly different, bright blue powder lined the top and the bottom and the stick was not hollow. Before Blaise could even open her mouth to Imogen, she vanished as noiselessly as a dove. It occured to Blaise shortly after that out the window a deer could be seen. Blaise was not so much confused because the grounds surrounding the school were vast enough already it seemed fairly logical, it was more to do with the fact that no one had mentioned there were any deer at the school so Blaise got an urge to visit it in the field.

On the way, Hannah saw her.
"Blaise, would you like to join me and the others for lunch?"
Hannah stepped aside and made a gesture towards three girls.
"This is Faith."
Faith was very tall, she had bluey green eyes and she was pale, her hair was medium length, wavy and dip-dyed purple with black at the top. She was wearing a band T-shirt with black skinny jeans and her arm was covered in various wristbands from various events she had been to and she was wearing trainers. She seemed like an amazing person
"Hey Blaise"
"Hi!" Blaise replied with a smile.
"This is Elizabeth"
Elizabeth was short, she was slightly tanned with long dark silky brown hair, she was wearing a white T-shirt with a cat with sunglasses on it with blue jeans and ballet pumps.
"'Sup?"
"This is Kaitlyn"
Kaitlyn's height was just above average, she was beautifully tanned with brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was wearing a T-shirt with a pony with rainbow hair. She had black and white leggings on and was wearing grey trainers.
"Hi there!"
"Of course!" Blaise replied.
"The deer can wait" she thought.

Deer's POV

Hmph. Blaise decided to ignore me. Or maybe not. She is just stupid that's why...she has no idea what Hannah is up to. She trusts to easily...

Hannah's POV

I met Blaise on that train. She is such an idiot. I was worried she wouldn't trust me. I have the entire class on my side...it seems Blaise is becoming more and more popular though...my plan could be foiled very soon at this rate...

Blaise's POV

Lunch today was the best! Hannah, Elizabeth (We call her Lizzy) and Kaitlyn had to leave early to go to maths club but Faith and I had the best time! We are so connected. I love her so much! We have so much in common...ugh I'm starting to sound like most girls now...but I guess for the first time ever I'm atually starting to enjoy school! I found out Faith is moving really close to me! Yay!

Faith's POV

Blaise is the only person I consider a friend. She is the most inspiring and happy person I have met in my entire life. I can't let Hannah take advantage of her any longer...even if it means losing the trust of the whole class. Blaise is my friend, true friends don't keep secrets.
I walked over to Blaise in form time because the others hadn't come back from what they told her to be maths club.
"Hi Blaise, are you okay?"
"Yep, I'm fine thanks!"
"Um..do you want to...you know hang out after school today? I can't take you back to my flat because the removal men have packed most of our stuff up...but the city centre's not far from here."
"Yes please...but I don't have any money..."
"Oh..." I replied
"Wait I know! My house is in South Lavenville, it's only a fifteen minute train ride! You can come to mine and I can get money and we can go to the city! Or even, if you want you can stay for a sleepover! It is friday after all!" Blaise excitedly replied
"That sounds cool, thanks Blaise I'll just text my mum."
Under the table I pulled out my phone. Hannah was glaring at me, it was time to ruin her plan, she couldn't say anything or Blaise would figure it out but I knew what I had to do.

North Dandeville station was packed with people from Blaise and Faith's school and from neighbouring schools like the all boys one 'Meadowgreen college' and the mixed 'Stumphill school'. Most children appeared to be behaving well, talking quietly and standing away from the yellow line and minding the gap, but there were a few listening to metal songs and chanting the lyrics, a few screaming and standing on top of the metal benches on either platforms and afew cartwheeling and attempting other gymnastic poses everytime a train went past. Overall there were more people on the platform which had trains going towards the city, and far less going out. Blaise and Faith were waiting for the 'Hedgefield' train which was due in two minutes.

"Have you ever been to South Lavenville before?" Blaise asked Faith
"No, but I look forward to it so I can finally see the area my mum chose us to live in, is it nice?"
"Yes it is, it's very quiet and everyone is friendly, around me there are fields scattered with cattle, horses and sheep. I have horses myself, I can show you them, it's a lovely day and should stay light until about ten tonight, so when we come back we could ride them if you want!"
"That would be really cool, I atually take lessons myself every week. So I guess I'm good...NOT BRAGGING..."
"Haha it's okay, can you jump or ride bareback?"
"Yes I can I enjoy that the most!"
"Good! We can do that then! I can't wait to show you!"

The train pulled up. Fifteen minutes later, they arrived in South Lavenville and were the only ones to get off. The sky was clear and it was quite hot. Blaise's house was only a ten minute walk or a two minute bus ride which they decided to take. On arrival at her house she knocked on the door, her mother was out. So Blaise put the keys in the lock and dashed upstairs to get her money.
"Faith, do you want to see my horses now or?"
"Yeah okay, the train is coming in about an hour and a half because the previous one was cancelled."
"Ah well we can ride around the town for a bit and you can see the view."
"Cool"
"Oh! Get some boots on I'll take you to the office, what size shoe are you?" Blaise said as they walked over.
"Seven."
"You're in luck! I hope these are okay, Oh and now that we're here, we need to put our helmets on."
Blaise examined Faith's head.
"Try this one!"
"Oh...yeah this is good."
"Cool!"
The horses were pratically opposite the office.
"Meet Shadow, he's an arab."
Shadow was a beautiful black arab horse with shiny hair.
"This is Silver, he's a paint"
Silver was very tall and he had a pink nose and his hair was spotted black and white.
"This is Sonic, he's an arab too."
Sonic was a young and beautiful brown horse with black hair.

Blaise mounted Shadow.
"Do which horse do you want to ride?" Blaise asked.
"Hm..."
Faith lead Sonic out of the stable and mounted him. Blaise directed them to a large field with fences made of hay separating each section.
"This is where we will jump?" Faith asked.
"Yes, over the hay fences."
Blaise volunteered herself to show Faith what to do and where to go. Silver picked up speed on demand and practically flew over the yellow hay stacked to make the fence, the grass under foot was picked up by Silver's strong and massive hooves which dug into the ground on every step. Each jump felt like they were flying and every galloping stride felt weightless and free. The duo went round and round countless times until half an hour had past and Faith alerted Blaise, so they decided to take a tour of South Lavenville.

The views of the town were scenic and beautiful, the birds were chirping in the trees and passers-by waved and them as they trotted past. Most homes were cottages and had thatched rooves and some were big and colourful mansions with over thirty acres of land surrounding them. The city was a distant land to this calm and tranquil area, and could only be seen on the highest hilltop. Faith and Blaise realised that they only had fifteen minutes left before the train came. So they cantered back and fed the horses and made their way to the train station. On the way Blaise's mother arrived home. She saw them.
"Hello! Blaise."
"Hi Mum, this is Faith."
"Hello!" Blaise's mum smiled
"Where are you off to?"
"Oh...we were going to catch a train to the city to go shopping and stuff."
"Oh Blaise, you should have asked me, but okay. As long as you two stick together. And come home before dark. And where are you staying Faith?"
"Um well I-"
"Can Faith stay for a sleepover?"
"Blaise...well fine, but I'm going out with Sandra and the others tonight! You'll have to look after yourselves. Are your parents okay with that Faith."
"Yes, thank you very much Miss-"
"Just call me Maria." She smiled
"Well you two girls better get going, don't get lost!"
"Haha we won't!"
"Blaise come here a sec, take this money I hope it's not all gone, have fun too!"
"We will bye!"
