The Darkness Comes

Savanna's POV

I was so pissed. Where the hell did that come from? Was she sane when she threatened me? She better not have been...

"Hey! Wait up!" I heard a voice calling behind me.

I turned around to see my friends Briana and Elyse running towards me. Briana had long dark hair and soft brown eyes. Her skin was very tan, and she was wearing a long flowing yellow dress. Elyse had very frizzy, curly, light brown hair and brown eyes. She had tan skin and was wearing was wearing an aqua dress. They were both beautiful.

"Hey guys! I can't wait to get sworn into the pack as an adult!" I said as they stopped in front of me. "I am sooooo exited!"

"Ya it's gonna be awesome! Hey, have you seen Nathaniel? I can't find him anywhere!" Briana replied.

"I think he went over here Briana, let the birthday girl have fun!" Elyse said.

"Thanks Elyse, you really are great with fun!" I said sarcastically.

She gave me a look, then I walked over to the huge bonfire and took my seat in the 'birthday chair', the seat every girl sits in on her 18th birthday to get sworn into adulthood. The Alfa of the pack, my father, stepped onto the platform and howled for the loud chatter to stop so he could start the meeting. Everyone howled in return, and the ceremony started.

"We are gathered here to swear in Savanna Von Broke as an adult in the moonbeam pack!" my dad yelled.

There were joyful cheers in the crowd, but through the pack bond, I felt a feeling of panic.

"And what is causing that look on your face dear?" my father suddenly asked me.

"Ummmmm........" now that panic was fear. And now, great sorrow.

"I think someone is hurt! Someone is trying to tell me-" but I was cut off by a howl and Elyse running into the meeting followed by Briana, who was carrying a hurt wolf- Nathaniel. Her mate.

"Mister Alfa sir, please help! We need to get him to the healer wolf, and fast! He has lost a lot of blood sir, and those rouges are trying to kill us!"

And with that said, we all phased into our wolves and ran from the meeting place just as a dark cloud surrounded us. The Sunstar pack! A wolf was suddenly running behind me, and I turned to look at him. We ran farther than the others in my pack. And the one thing on my mind as I ran to fast for him to follow me into the woods was
