The SAT program

"Alright. Follow me." As I follow him through the woods I said "So I have a question." "If the question involves the end of the tunnel trick then tell me." I knew that this was not his first time hearing someone that question but I still asked him "Yeah." "Well I guess you people need to know but don't tell this to anyone." "Yeah of course." "Alright the trick is called the Magic Mirror a mirror that can let anyone see through a certain wall or tree or anything except for a human or creature." "So do you cast it?" "No we buy it." "Wait. Buy? From whom?" "A wizard from Germania." When you think about it, it actually would make sense since wizards from Germania can craft magical potions, weapons, and others like a mirror that can see through walls and more but behind it is the material the wall, tree, rock or anything use. After walking for hours we arrived at a small camp with only eleven people it was not far from the mountain "Is this all of the SAT members." He looked at me and said "Yep." He approached a man wearing armor that the highest rank of Paladins has. The entire armor is made out of gold and iron, the helmet of his covers his entire mouth, it also has two sets of angel wings on the side of his helmet, and it has four golden stars on the forehead his chest piece covered his neck the golden silver leggings covered the entire legs and his boots have small silver spikes below his foot Oliver and the man approached me and he said "So...your the rookie?" I nodded then he said "Well hope that you can manage to survive for two days of training." He turned around and talked to Oliver and went towards a white long tent "Well, if you survive I'll be very impress since there used to be five thousand here in the program but one by one they die due to intense training." I felt my heart pounding and my hands sweating as he said those words then he said "Since your a rookie I'll introduce you to the rest here." He approached to man with his left eye all black and his right eye was blue as I go towards him Oliver said "This is Aron. Aron from El Spañia claims to be the only survivor in Fort Lion a fort which is the best fort in the entire nation but was soon destroyed by Darkness. During the attack Darkness cast a dark fog in the entire fort which burns the flesh and melts the bone but he survive by hiding inside the barracks but was soon found by Darkness." He then looked at his left eye and said "The eye is a reminder of the suffering that Darkness creates but it actually helps his combat and vision which makes him be able to see in the dark."
"But how did it happen?" "What do you mean?" "I mean how did his eye become like that." Then he spoke in a rough deep voice "This eye. He tortured me by dripping a black fluid on it I struggled but the more I struggle the more painful it gets. Then I passed out when I woke up the place was in ruins everybody was gone I left the fort and never looked back my left eye stopped functioning but after five days it healed and gained it's vision but the mixture of my left eye and this right eye don't get along. My vision was sometimes black and white and sometimes normal so I have to wear a eye patch to see clearly but when I wore it my left eye can still see through it but it was clear. But it had a consequence and that is this eye will have to bleed every once in a while for me to suffer in pain another curse Darkness gave." He then stood up and went towards the archery range "Just don't mind him his...just mysterious." He then brought me to a elven girl on a tree aiming her bow at one of the targets then he said "Her name is Valier a archer in the Elven Forest in El Spañia went here to avenge her people after what Darkness did to them. She also swore to bring back the flower to us so we could recreate the barrier after all Darkness is preparing to take Francisca then Germania then Londania and soon the world. So we have to create the barrier or shield again if not then he may take the second sacrament in the very last city in the country which is highly protected by us but I have low hopes for her to retrieve or avenge her people well basically everyone here is after for vengeance which is really impossible or us defending the city." As I look at her she loosen the arrow piercing through the target then Oliver said "If your not impress by her archery try doing it on top of that tree." He pointed at a tall tree very far from camp and said "Cause she did." He then pointed to a sitting on a rock sharpening a short sword he had a mark on his hand shaped like a fire and a scar on his right eye which reached towards his chin then Oliver said ""You see that mark." I nodded "That mark was a mark from a Ukrai's sword which scratched his face you can only see it only reached his chin but he has another big scar on his chest."
Then after three hours of talking about different people with a special ability that not even one of the soldiers at the normal training back at the city. Then I heard a bell making everyone go to the middle of the camp, as I head there I saw the man in armor again and he said "Alright were all heading to the mountain and here's the rule. One if you are left behind you get left behind we ain't going back for slow and weak people second if you ever make a mistake just even once you die there and finally third you should never feel and show weakness the mountain may just be a mountain but it took many lives of weak and slow people. So pack up and we all leave in thirty minutes." He grabbed a hour glass behind him and flipped it after preparing for thirty minutes we marched towards the mountain just a few meter away from it you can already feel the intense heat below the mountain as we climb I felt lightheaded but I recovered quickly after remembering what the man said.
As we finally reached the middle of the mountain we saw a large camp it had a training course with many obstacles which would involve our agility, stamina, flexibility, speed, focus, dexterity, balance, and finally survival. The survival part was the entire course itself since it's so difficult that you always have to stay alert around your surrounding cause one wrong move will kill you in many horrible, painful, and gruesome ways is either get stuck between the moving obstacles or just a simple trip, slip or fall to the spikes, hole or get crushed by the course itself. We rested there a bit and wore our winter coats since were all heading to the top of the mountain, I looked around the camp and saw snow on the edge of the camp as I place my unprotected leg to the snow I felt how cold the top was, it was like you were laying on ice as your bed I quickly pulled it out and looked at it as soon as I saw my leg I was shocked since I saw the hairs of my leg completely frozen but it quickly became normal after a few minute I went back to the middle of the camp wearing the winter outfit it was very warm I felt my sweat dripping down my body but it is supposedly to keep us alive I was a bit confused on why do we need winter training but I didn't mind it I was jut simply confused. After twenty minutes the commander in chief of the entire program told us that we have to get moving, we left but Oliver did not participate since he already graduated from the program and he was there to tell me and to make sure everyone is here. The mountain was very cold even with the winter jackets it only protects us from frostbites but not from the cold we stayed there for ten minutes and went back to camp. Even if we stayed there for only ten minutes two of us died during the trip which only leaves us with nine people we then went to the obstacle course and trained for five hours I made it to the end with many bruises but four people died due to moving obstacles, falling down to the spikes below the balancing poles, crushed by the walls at the speed run obstacle, and chopped to pieces by the giant axes at the obstacle course. The once who died is Aron, Mark the guy with a giant mark from head to toe, Carson a man who has incredible stamina and speed, and Darveer a guy who can carry ten to six hundred pounds of rock. After the obstacle course we rested in the barracks to sleep and we were only five people. Five years have passed and every month six people arrive but just like what Oliver said one by one they die due to intense training only three graduated from the SAT program the people are me, Valier, and Lukas the last soldier from the battle of Blood River. The battle took place at the south of Francisca between the land of the Creators land and the Forgotten land the reason why it's called Blood River is because four thousand men died there the Blood is from the blood of men and the River is the massive amounts of corpses which resembles like a river he only lived because he retreated which is a cowards way but even if he stayed Darkness's army will always win since they outnumbered them by one to twenty after all they are the Undead army. We were sent to Fort Golden Cross to lead the army there the fort is located near the Forgotten land which is a terrible place to be.
