Leah's POV

"Arghhhh!!!"

Henley is just sitting on the corner of basement. He's awake through the night. I think he's experiencing some drastic changes in his body. It seems to be that his vampire cells are growing in advanced.

"Henley, tell us what you're feeling." Melinda asked him.

"Auntie, I think I'm going to explode! I'm having cramps on my tummy! I'm like a woman having PMS! God I swear it hurts so bad! Now I'm convinced on how bad every woman experienced the PMS pain!" He shouted.

"Just calm down." I told him.

For a moment he stopped. He slowly looked somewhere while squeezing his stomach.

"I'm hungry as fuck." He said with a serious voice.

Did he already turned?

"Henley, look at me." Melinda made him face her. "Henley!"

He looked at Melinda with confusion in his eyes. Suddenly his eyes turned into a purplish grey color. I might say that, that kind of eye color is very familiar to me.

"Henley," Melinda's expression was a little bit terrified and amazed.

"What happen?" He asked.

"Your eyes." I told him as I smile. "They turned out so beautiful."

Henley look into the small vintage mirror beside him.

"Oh, thanks. Uh, why don't I just have the full black eyes like yours? It seems more cool and manly." He said as he looked away from the mirror.

"Anyways, are you still hungry?" I asked.

His eyes went back normal. He ran with vampire speed towards me.

"Man! This is so awesome!" He exclaimed. "Y'all guys look at me!" He added as he makes fun of himself.

"I'll just go and get buy some blood for him, ok? Don't let him out." Melinda told me.

She left us at the basement.

"Leah, why are we still here? It's kinda hot here." Henley said.

"It's for our safety. This is the most powerful place in the house." I told him.

"But it's okay if I would just get a drink right?" He asked.

"Water?" I awkwardly asked him.

"Yeah? What?" He said. "I'll be back in minutes.

He went up. There's some holes on some of the part of the walls. If you'd look through them, you'll see a small part of grass peeking from the other side.

Michael's POV

I've fed the animals recently and I'm having this kind of odd feeling through the morning. I'm also having some weird sun burns. It's weird because after a couple of minutes, it just faded on it's own like nothing happened.

I wish Rebecca was here to help me out. I don't know if it's right to trust her. She's... She's so magical. Like she's so impossible.

I'm running out of chicken feeds. The corn production the past days aren't healthy. I really need to have a co worker or a helper. I decided to go at the market. Unluckily, I just remembered that I've left my truck at Old Moffey's so I commuted.

It's been awhile or I just never did. I don't feel well riding on a mini bus. I'm not used to strangers sitting beside me.

The girl beside me is doing her make up. I looked at her secretly as she does her face. She's using a lipstick. I'm proud of myself because at least I knew some things about lady things. We're here. I mean, I'm here. Most of the people carry their butts out of the bus right to the market. Well, this is it. I'll be buying things that I used to produce in the farm.
