it was a friday night, and here you were. spread out on your bed, with all your ink filled pages and books, doing homework. you had no other thing to do, anyway. your mind was distracted, but you didn't care. you wanted to get your mind off something. someone. him.
you heaved a sigh as you felt a vibration near your elbow. your phone was receiving a spam of messages again. even if you readzoned him, he wouldn't give up.
deep down, you knew that he wasn't at fault. you couldn't blame him... or maybe you could. the one thing you hated about him was how his appearance was astounding, and it lured in many other girls.
you ignored your phone and continued with writing that essay. humming to yourself helped. but, in a way, it didn't. it reminded you of how he would hum to you every night as you two huddled together. this boy, rather a young man actually, was your first love. jiwon was the type to always hold you dearly and was sometimes too much for your own good. the way he would look after you, make you smile, protect you...
those sweet memories played through your mind but were interrupted by your phone which was ringing. you groaned as you accepted his call. you put the phone on speaker and remained silent.
his husky voice sounded rather confused, but with a hint of worry. "(y/n), i am here... outside. i just wanted to say, i hope you have a good sleep and that you always smile. i will love you forever, regardless of what you decide."
you never liked him worrying. you hated it. you hung up on him and rushed out your room to the door and your breaths became heavy with desperation as you unlocked it and slowly opened it.
your eyes met his, and you felt as if you had pushed him away for too long. one week felt like a lifetime. you missed him so much. your heart was pounding as you crashed into him, hugging him tightly. that special feeling buzzed throughout your body. that feeling of security and being loved.
"i'm sorry." he rubbed his head against yours. you loved it when he did this. you loved it every time he did this.
"it's not your fault. i'm sorry... for being a jealous girlfriend." you pulled back from the hug and held his hand. he smiled. his bunny teeth always got to you. they hit you straight in the feels. jiwon always hit you in the feels.
you pulled him into the apartment. he, of course, came in. he closed the door behind him, his eyes still on you.
his right hand came up, to your faceu. you stared into his eyes, the feeling of longing had been consuming you.
"i missed you, (y/n)." he almost whispered. he did this because he knew that his whispering made you weak in the knees, and he loved it.
you didn't say anything but just crashed into him. both of you almost fell but he held on to you.
"i don't want to let you go. ever." he whispered as he rested his chin on the top of your head.
