Annabeth sighed as she got up from her bed to look at the clock. It was already 8:30 am and she was late again. Wow, way to go Annabeth She thought.

She quickly grabbed a white shirt to wear,Some skinny jeans and a jacket.She grabbed the milk carton,Cereal,a bowl, and a spoon to make cereal on her car. Why cereal? It's the first thing she grabbed of course.

She put on some deodorant and made a quick pony tail. Once she thought everything was ready,she grabbed her cereal stuff, grabbed her car keys, and grabbed her shoes and took off.

Annabeth literally ran from her apartment all the way to the parking lot. An elderly person was unlocking their car, and she ran straight past him, knocking the guy out.

" Oh my god, i'm so sorry! Here." She heleped him stand up and the guy grunted

"Stupid teenagers." He muttered

Annabeth quickly fast walk the rest of the way to her car and unlocked it. She sat down her stuff,Put on her shoes, and started the engine.

It made a loud noice, than beeped ,indicating that their was no gas

Annabeth cuss and quickly got her stuff out of the car. She ran to the nearest bus stopped which was 5 minutes away, and waited their

She quickly searched her pockets for her phone to check the time, but her phone wasn't in any pocket

"Dang it! I left it back at the apartment! This is the 3rd time this week i'm late. Reyna will surely fire me." she muttered to herself

Right after she said that, a really pretty girl with choppy brown hair and kaleidoscope eyes walked towards her and waited along with Annabeth for the bus.

Awkward Annabeth thought because she knew she obviously looked like a creep holding a milk carton,bowl,cereal box and spoon.

After a few more minutes, the new girl cleared her throat and spoke

"Not that i care but, why do you look like you just woke up?" the girl asked

Annabeth looked at her, than at herself

"Maybe that's because i did." She answered

The girl cocked her head and let out a small chuckled

Annabeth shifted nervously. Did she say something funny?

" Sorry but you remind me of me on my first job. I was literally 1 hour late and poor McDonalds didn't have a person on the driveway. Anyway, I'm Piper McLean." The girl, Piper, said sticking out her hand

"I'm Annabeth Chase." Said Annabeth shaking Piper's hand

Piper than grinned at her

"Chase is your last name?" she asked

Annabeth sighed as she knew were this was going. Thalia always made fun of her last name(as best friends obviously. Besides, Annabeth made fun of her last name too.)
She always tried to make it into a pun.

"Yeah." answered Annabeth

"Right now, you look as if someone was chasing you." Said Piper, laughing at her own joke

Annabeth sighed

"Yeah yeah. My friend Thalia does the same thing. She tries to convert my last name into a pun. Key word, Tries." Said Annabeth.

"Besides, why don't you help me McLean my self up?"

Piper chuckled

"That was a terrible pun." She noted

With that, the two new friends took off for a ride in Piper's car

Once Annabeth was done explaining her crazy morning,Piper shook her head.

"Wow. Didn't you put an alarm clock at night?" She asked

Annabeth thought back. She DID Put an alarm, but she guessed she must've been really tired to not hear it.

"By the way, what do you work as?" asked Piper

"As a photographer." said Annabeth

" That's cool. I still work at McDonalds." she said

After a few chats with Piper, they wrote down their phone numbers and handed it to each other.

"Where is your job located?" Asked Piper

Annabeth looked out the window and grinned

"Right there."

She pointed to a medium size building on the right

"Okay." Piper said turning right

Once they said their goodbye's, Annabeth looked out on the road and thought before going inside

What a crazy morning.
