Frank bit his nails in anxiety. He was really worried about Jason and he was growing impatient every second .
"We're here." said Grover
As fast as lightning, Percy,Nico,Leo and Frank got out of the van and ran to the hospital.
When they got to the front desk, Percy asked for Jason and the young woman said
"He's out of his surgery now. You can see him when the doctor informs you that he's at a room."
Percy nodded and motioned for the guys to seat down.
Frank sat next to Nico and Percy. In the middle, to be specific. Leo sat next to Grover
He looked around the waiting room and saw different faces. Small and old. Thin and wide. Colored or white.
Frank always consider the colored people with different shades. He never thought of black. To him, their skin seemed like different kinds of brown. Light brown, dark brown, ginger, coffe brown, chocolate brown but never black. Personally, Frank liked them alot.
*30 minutes later*
The doctor came to the waiting room and immediately Percy,Nico,Frank,Leo and Grover stood up
"How is Jason Grace doctor?" asked Nico
The doctor shifted his glasses and said
"He's fine now. He should be good to go in about a week. For now, he needs rest. Only 3 per person can go to his room."
Percy,Nico,Frank,Leo and Grover looked at each other
"I guess Percy,Frank and Leo should go first. Me and Grover will go next." Said Nico
Percy nodded as they headed over to Jason's room. When they got there, Frank opened the door to find Jason in a bed with a few wires from his nostril.
"Hey man, how do you feel?" Asked Leo
Jason groaned
"Like-like crap."
Leo chuckled
"What happened to you dude?" Asked Percy
Jason tilted his head but let out a moaned of pain
"What does it look like Percy? I got stabbed." He said
"But how?"
Jason shook his head
"I'll tell ya'll later. The doctor said that I won't be able to travel to New York for the concert. What are we going to do for the keyboard?" He asked
Percy shrugged in response
"We will need someone else to play until you feel better."
Frank looked out the window and saw the stars twinkling in the night sky.
"Anyways, the doctor said I can leave the hospital in 3 days but i won't be able to travel for about a week." Jason said
The four of them became silent for a few moments until Leo coughed
"Well, get better soon blond superman." Said Leo, motioning for the others to follow him out of the room
Jason managed to cracked a smile
"I'll try, Valdez."
