Chapter 1: Coming home (Edward POV)

Edwards POV
"UGH FINE!" Me and my family were sitting in the front room of our new house having a 'family meeting' it was clear non of us were happy here. Everything's been a wreck ever since we left Forks...and Bella. Carlisle despises me on an EXTREME level and Esme refuses to come out of her room or talk to me. She only ever goes hunting with Carlisle. She hates me for the time being. Rosalie hates me aswell. Before we left, her and Bella just started to like each other...well...Rosalie just started tolerating Bella and she's super angry because she became fond of her. Emmett hates the fact I fed Bella cold, undying lies and Jasper feels the same. Alice wants to slap the undead life out of me. I can't take the obsessive thoughts anymore. To be honest I hated myself aswell for what I did to Bella...my life...my everything. I thought it would keep her safe but deep down we're all panicking 'cause Alice stopped seeing Bella's future. It's completely black. It just happened randomly and I refused to go and check on her. It would only cause her more pain but I can't take it anymore.
"FINALLY!" Rosalie, Alice and Esme shouted in unison. Rose stood up from her chair she sat in and ran full speed up to me, right in my face.
"YOU cost me a damn good new friend in Bella. You're gonna pay and YOU'RE gonna fix it!" She prodded my chest. I normally would have snapped at her but she's right.
"'Bout time you faced up to it Edward." Emmett stood and hand-in-hand Rosalie and Emmett went to pack their stuff.
"It's going to take a while for me to forgive you for this, Edward." To my surprise Esme said it not Alice. She stood and Carlisle nodded at her, not one glance in my way. Carlisle will forgive me soon but it will take time in Esme. They ran to pack. Alice just stood and walked to me human speed.
"You know, I wouldn't normally bother but now you've seen sense you will understand you've put Bella in more pain than ever before just by telling her simple lies. If you think our family was hard on you, you know them. Wait 'till you see how Bella feels about this." Alice walked to the far door and stood waiting for Jasper as he confronted me.
"I can't believe you, Edward. I didn't know who you were for a while and to be honest. I still don't." He zoomed off with Alice leaving me sighing and a pricking  feeling in my eyes. I realised this is what it was like to cry, in vampire world. This is how we cry, they're right. I hurt Bella so much my family hates me. I'm not sure how to fix this. Make her believe me again. I'm not going to stop trying. Not until I know. Not until she forgives me.
I ran to my own room alone an image of my Bella in my mind. She was breaking down, crying her eyes out like she did when James killed Jacob. They're both gone. It's over for that much but things weren't the same. That's when I 'realised' at the time that I was putting her in danger and pain everyday.

About 1 hour later we were piling our bags into the cars, my family blocked their thoughts from me now so I heard nothing. Carlisle and Esme took Carlisle's Mercedes. Emmett took his Jeep. Rosalie and Alice took Rose's convertible. Jasper took his brand spanking new motorbike and I took my Volvo alone. It took Alice by the arm before she got in the car.
"It's going to take time for everyone else to forgive me, but how much time will it take you?" I look staring in her gold eyes and she didn't answer. She let one thought leak from her mind.
"I'll forgive you when Bella forgives you. Jasper will after a while. Emmett will when everything's cooled down. Carlisle when we get Bella back. Esme a few centuries. Rose?...Never." I let her go and she climbed into the convertible and Rosalie shot me an ice cold glare. They all drove off Mercedes first, then convertible, then the motorbike, then me and my Volvo and finally the jeep. I laugh at myself for a few memories in this car.
*FLASHBACK*
Bella smiled her own cute smile "my fave colour? Ermmm it changes everyday. But today I think it's white."
I raised one eye brow and looked at her "white?"
"Yeah! It's a pure colour and it doesn't show any emotion, I'd say it's pretty perfect!"
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I laugh at her silly explanation. She's actually incredible inside but she hides behind a no ask won't tell mask. Bella was a mystery to me and to my household and Rose's hatred for her. When everything finally started going well  I mess it up  by tearing my family from a part of our family who can't be replaced. The one human that we're all hell bent on protecting and loving and I pushed her away creating a hole in our hearts that filled until we see her again. I'll get on my knees if I have to but we need her back or things aren't going to go well.
