Chapter 3: Old friends (Bella POV)

Bella POV
I landed hard on my feet behind my house but it didn't hurt. It never hurts when I land from flying. I run inside making sure no one spots me and charge straight for my room. I change into my own clothes for school hiding my supergirl uniform underneath. I throw open my draw in a rush and grab my make up bag and dash for the bathroom. My hand were a blur working on my school make-up and I was done in under 2 minutes, it was natural makeup just some eyeshadow and eye liner standing out. I was about to head for my truck when I passed my heart shaped locket on the side. I snatched it up opening it. Engraved were the words La tua cantante, and a picture of my first love. I fastened it around my neck as I know I'm going to see...them...today. I saw them. They were talking with Charlie while I was on my way to the armed robbery. Lucky me though, I don't think they noticed it was me. Edward stiffened but I guessed that was after he saw a vision Alice had about me kicking those criminals' butts.
I make a run, human speed, for my truck and it groaned and complained as I turned on the engine. Eventually she worked for me and I was on my way to another day of hell...oops I mean school. Lauren couldn't get any worse now. Jess, Angela, Mike and Eric still stick up for me but Tyler follows Lauren around like a lovesick puppy. Juggling 2 lives at once is really hard. Underneath the whining my truck was making I heard my neighbour watching the news and a report was on about my show up in front of Forks bank. That's the 3rd bank I had to handle this week. First Seattle bank, then Olympia Bank and Now Forks'. I pulled into my normal spot about 3 or 4 spaces distance from Mike's family van and on the other side of the car park from the Cullens'.
"Hey Bella," Lauren's venomous voice sneered from opposite me "How long are you going to have that truck it's so old!" I looked straight at her.
"Wouldn't you know what looking old is like." I laughed at her
"How dare you! I'm beautiful!" She flips her hair in Tyler's face
"Oh really? What's that? Oops Lauren I see a grey hair!" She starts panicking at turns to her little gang for help and I walk off laughing. I could hear a sweet melody of bells playing from their spot and I realised that the Cullens saw my little stunt. I didn't look at them at all and they didn't seem to realise that I knew they were there. I know, inception right? I walked over to Mikes mini van and high fived Angela and Jess while listening to Mike and Eric snigger.
I started a group text with the people surrounding me and we started talking about the Bank incident. We agreed a while ago that we would talk only by text that we delete later if it was about my superhero's job. Yeah, I only trusted these very people with my secret. I can't even trust Charlie. He can't hide his thoughts well enough but I taught my friends a complete mental block they asked why they needed to have it on all the time. I told them the half truth. Because of mind reading aliens....SUCH A THING EXISTS! I know it does! I never said a word about the Cullen family and their...secret.

Mike started the conversation with a congrats on my job

That's the 3rd bank this week! I just wish someone would want to take over a pond or something. For once I want to hear "haha! I'm going to take over this pond and rule all its fish!" THAT would be a good break!
They all sniggered and Jess let out the biggest laugh.
Angela
That will be the day Supergirl. That'll be the day.
They would call me 'Supergirl' as it was my real name. I only found out I was an alien born on Krypton when I came across my own escape pod and accessed the memory files. I translated my Kryptonion name into an English translation and it was 'Supergirl' after the plane incident I had to come out and I've saved the world countless times. I just liked the name Isabella and that was my human name. I'm not even going to try and pronounce my Kryptonion name.

Bells gonna go in a few seconds, Jess? History or Drama or Ditch? Up to u.
It only took one second for Jess to respond

DITCH SMITCH! I wanna go to drama! It's freaking film day!

I've dealt with white marshians and Kryptonions. Nothing scares me more than an excited Jessica.
We each laughed loudly and left the conversation eventually deleting it.
"Okay, Jess. Drama it is." Jess grabbed my arm in an attempt to drag me to drama I just yanked my arm back bringing her with me. She stumbled on the way back and I caught her. "I'm stronger than you, Jess. That ain't gonna work" the sweet bells played again. This time I dragged her away because 2 seconds later she was flirting with Mike. We went the long way round in an attempt to avoid the Cullens' eye line. I see you if you see me right? And then, the school bell rang.
