I pushed open the door desperate to get just a breath of freedom. I felt something grab me bringing me back to reality.
"Breathe," the calm voice said gently placing two hands on my shoulders.
I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding in.
" Thank you," I said looking up to thank the mysterious voice, but there was no one there.

"Hi guys! Today is Saturday and as promised I will be giving you a tour of this place I now have to call home," I said enthusiastically to the camera in my hand. " Now the only problem is, how do I walk down the street without any weird looks."After stopping in a nearby coffee shop and taking a quick stroll in the park, I settled on a cozy looking bookstore, right on the edge of town.
A man rushed out of the bookstore carrying with him the smell of moldy pages. I rushed forward to catch the door and was greated with chaos.
Let me rephrase that, I was met with fall out boy blaring from the speakers. Rebecca was looking on in amusement as a group of boys attempted to " dance like Uma Thurman".
I rolled my eyes, and pressed the record button.
" And this is the bookstore," I said panning the room , before turning it back to face me. " I think I like it." I remarked dryly.
Rebecca looked up at the sound of my voice. She gave me a small grin and beckoned me forward.
" I'll have to apologize for my brothers, they're not usually this rowdy."
" So the fall out boy is a normal occurrence here?"
She ducked her head," Only when it's my shift, otherwise it's back to classical music."
I grinned," So you like fall out boy?
She rolled her eyes," It would seem so."
I felt my cheeks reden," Favorite song?"
"Golden," she responded immediately." It's from infinity on high"
" You have good taste," I said nodding in appreciation.
"Well she must, she's talking to you." A voice behind me remarked sarcastically.
Rebecca widened her eyes comically," Something you want to tell me James?"
The tall brow haired and blue eyed boy behind me shuffled awkwardly before rolling his eyes.
" Rebbeca, please you never speak to anyone."

I laughed," Did you really take a picture of him?"Rebecca blushed and looked down at her lap." Maybe...What do you want from me I was a dumb 14 year old."
My phone started buzzing in my pocket. I groaned inwardly it was probably my mother. I took it out and quickly glanced at the time.
" Sorry about that, wait, wait, wait!" I said glancing back at the time. "How did we end up talking for two freakin hours without realizing."
I shook my head in amazement.
Rebecca shrugged, " I guess I just have that magical effect on people."
I laughed again, "As much as I would love to stay I really need to go," I said standing up. "See you tomorrow."
She nodded and went to get the door for me." Goodbye."
I closed my jacket and hurried down the street fighting against the frigid October wind, but not before turning around and hearing something I probably shouldn't have.
James crept up next to Rebecca and said with a smirk.
"So...Is he single?"
I stifled a chuckle and kept walking. Two doors down I turned around and called out one word.
"Yes."
