Jellal's POV

Erza's mother comes out of the door sobbing like crazy. It's my turn to visit her.
"Hey beautiful." I force a smile
"...Hey"
I can see she's feeling a bit better, pressing a button on the hospital bed, it tilts forward making her sit up a bit.
"How you feeling?" I'm staying calm for her.
"Well... Most of the pain is gone..." there's something she's not telling me.
"That's great..! When do you think you'll be back up again?."
She flinches a bit and a single tear falls. Covering her eyes she points towards the lower half of her body.
"Jellal... I can't"
"What do you... mean?" I sit beside her on the bed.
"I've... been... paralized waist down, Jellal." My eyes widen. What?!
Anger takes over me again. That freakin truck!
"I'm so sorry Erza! Its my fault!" I'm in full rage now. " if only I would've been there during the ten years this wouldn't of happened!" She keeps sobbing as I get up and pace around the room to try to calm down.
"Jellal." Still loosing it. "Jellal!" I'm sorry Erza. "JELLAL!"
I face her.
"Go. You don't have to trail around this girl that will be stuck in a wheelchair forever. Go live your life with someone who can take walks with you and be able to do things I can't. I won't be mad if you leave, I promise." Her water filled hazel eyes look at me seriously.
"No."
She's confused
"I won't EVER stop loving you, Scarlet. I don't care if you can't walk or if you'd be half dead! I want to live my life with you only! Forever. I'll show you off as proud as ever! We'll go get some cake together and I'll say to everyone; 'She is my world'. So don't ever doubt my love for you. Because I'll stay right here and wont leave."

Erza's POV

I can't believe he said that. He truly does love me.
"Jellal... I.."
His eyes green become serious again as he sits beside me and softly faces his hand over my mouth so I can't speak.
"Stop." Stop?!
Sighing his playful smirk appears again. The one I haven't seen in so long.
"Erza. I love you so so much. But I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore." What!?! I thought he said he was going to stay with me!! Is he regretting his choice?!
He takes his hand away from my mouth and reaches in his pocket revealing a small black box. No way.
"Erza, we are nineteen now. I can't bare seeing you without this any longer."
He goes on one knee and opens the box in which a silver ring with a small gold strawberry shortcake on top. The details of it are incredible, it would take months making one even of the person was highly skilled.
"Erza Scarlet. I shouldn't of made your last name 'Scarlet'. I should of called you Fernandez... So the question is, Titania, will you be my queen of the fairies and marry me?"

I can't stop my face from completely turning red. My hands are over my mouth as I try not to scream.

My childhood bestfriend.
"Jellal"
My boyfriend.
"I"
My fiancé.
"Will!"

He carefully places the ring on my forth finger as he then launches himself in my arms. "I love you so much, Jello." Chuckling he kisses me on the lips. I burry my face on his shoulder and hugging him so tight he can't leave.
"Now" he says "let's get you out of here!" He leaves to the front desk to get my 'sign out' sheet.
"Jellal. I just had surgery. I have to stay in here over night." I explain pointing to all the tubes going into my arms.
"I had a feeling this would happen so I brought a movie we can watch if you're not too tired." He says teaching in his bag and holding out 'Pitch Perfect'
"Oh my gosh Jellal!" I laugh giving him a playful slap on the arm. "Are you sure you want to watch this?" I ask knowing he's usually more of the action type.
"Eh. I don't mind, as long I'm with you." He puts the movie in the DVD player and plops on my bed placing an arm around me.
About half way through the movie we both fall asleep in each other's arms.

Just like when we were kids.

"But better" he whispers
