A Clan?

Freakout p.o.v.

Megatron had Knockout give me some dark Energon and the dosage has been steadily increasing. I know what's happening but they don't. I'm slowly dieing.......I thought that once I changed bodies that it wouldn't happen but I now see that I was wrong. I hate Vampyre rules.

"What are the Vampyre rules anyway?" I heard Megatron ask behind me.....I must have said that last bit out loud.

I turned around to see Knockout and Megatron. "Well I guess I can't say nothing and walk away, can I?"

Knockout shook his helm and Megatron said, "No."

I sighed, "Okay. Basic rules every Vampyre knows and must follow in order to stay alive.... Number one- Do not leave your prey alive....they will turn and there will be a hungry Vampyre on the loose that has no control nor idea of the rules. Number two- Never let a human know of our true nature........ unless your making them a meal.
Number three- You cannot change a human without the humans and the high-councils consent. Number four- Don't walk into direct sunlight.....if you do you will turn into ash. Number five- Never take on a hunter alone. Number six- Stay in your clan.....without a clan, of at least two vampyres, a Vampyre will slowly die turning into dust. If no clan is present then the Vampyre must drink from a living vessel every day and a half to avoid a slow agonizing death. Number seven- Find and stay with your mate. The goddess Nyx (nixks) chooses our mates long before we are born.....If you want more information on that rule ask me later. It's not important at the moment." I said, "because of rule number six I am slowly dieing.....I am now accustomed to Dark Energon but because of my Vampyre DNA....and because I do not have a clan or another like me I will slowly die....I will fade until all that's left of me is dust."

"That surprisingly reminds me of Cybonic plague or Cosmic Rust......mostly Cosmic Rust because that one's slower." Knockout said.

"What is a hunter?" Megatron asked.

"A human that knows of Vampyres and is trained since childhood to kill my kind." I explained. I coughed up a tiny bit of Dark Energon.....which was the first stage of the slow death.

"So what I'm hearing is you need either more of your kind or to feed from a living being every 36 earth hours?" Knockout asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"How does one become like you?" Megatron asked.

"Well....according to the Elders, there are two ways. One, a Vampyre and the one wishing to become a Vampyre must exchange blood. Or Two, ........I'll just say that one stays amongst mates." I replied.

"How does the first one work?" Knockout asked.

"The vampyre must drink from the other until the other person is seconds from death. Then must open a deep wound on themselves letting the other drink from them until they gained what they had lost. The other then goes into a deep sleep like death. They stay that way for two days before they wake up. But when they do wake up they need to feed at least once from a someone living." I said, "While the person is sleeping for two days, depending on their tolerance for pain, they might scream every once in a while. Its an excruciating experience. Like setting yourself on fire or throwing yourself into a volcano only you can't get out." I shivered, "The person is conscious during the whole thing."

"Anything else?" Megatron asked.

"The one who changes the other will become like a.....father or mother....or just a leader deepening on the Vampyres personality." I responded. "Basically, a Clan is either like a Team or a Family."

"What is the success rate?" Knockout asked again.

"Uh....out of 10?........9. Only 9 out of every 10 going through the change live. The other 1 dies during the change for various reasons." I said.

"You said you need at least one other clan member in order to live?" Megatron asked.

"Yes, Lord Megatron." I replied.

"Would a drone work, for now?" He asked.

I thought a minute, "Yes....I do believe that would work Lord Megatron."

Megatron looked at me for a moment. "Knockout." He said without looking away from my optics.

"Yes Lord Megatron?" Knockout asked.

"Bring a drone in for her to change.....and another for her to refuel." Megatron said.

"Yes, Lord Megatron." Knockout replied.

A few moments later I changed a Vehicon drone named 5t3v3.....or Steve into a Cybertronian Vampyre. And drained another of all its Energon. And Steve remained asleep, with only one scream every three hours. Probably because the DNA moving to a new part of his body. I can already see the changes.

Yes I know its been a while since I updated and I'm sorry. I do have thirty other stories I'm working on.
