After Mya went home, it was time for Lily to go to bed. Her brother was still at his sleep over, and tonight her dad didn't have to work. During the night she had the same dream she had a few nights ago. In the morning Lily was getting nervous, and curious as to why this dream was reoccuring, she was going to wait one more night to see if she had the dream again, then she would tell her parents once more.

It was the second last day of school, and Mya said she was going to get a membership at the same pool Lily goes to. Last year she wasn't allowed to because her mom wouldn't be able to watch her while she swam. Mya had finally convinced her mom to let her get the membership this year.

"I'm so excited for summer," Mya said as the two girls were walking to class.

"Me too, but this is our last year at this school, we'll be starting at a new school next year, and we might not be in the same class," Lily said sadly.

"Yes but, we'll walk home together, and we'll live on the same street," she said, "Don't tell me you're moving,"

"No, no I'm not moving, I'm just sad we won't be able to talk about people without explaining who they are first,"

"You're making it seem as though we have no chance that we're going to be in the same class,"

"I know, but there's going to be a lot of new people at this school,"

"Whatever, we weren't in the same class in grade four, and we were still best friends then. We can get through this, if we're not in the same class," Mya said.

"Yeah," Lily mumbled.

The girls silenced themselves as they got into class and sat in their seats.

Whoever was following them didn't want to be seen. Lily had an idea. She leaned over ever so slightly and quietly whispered to Mya, but she made sure it didn't look like she was whispering.

"We should take a turn that leads us into the open, then if we turn around to see who is following us they can't hide,"

"Yes, or even better, they will just stop following us. I have an idea where to go, just follow me," Mya whispered back.

Mya took a sharp right turn and headed towards a meadow.

"Good idea," Lily said quietly.

Once they were in the middle of the meadow they were sure they heard the sound of twigs breaking behind them, but when they turned around nobody was there. The two girls looked at eachother in confusion.

"B...b..but I could've sworn I heard footsteps," Lily stammered.

"Me too," Mya agreed, nodding.

The next day at school was awesome, since it was the last day of school all they did was watch movies and go outside. Mya and Lily sat in the back so they could talk about what happened yesterday after school.

"Who do you think was following us?" Lily asked quietly during "The Angry Birds Movie," in social studies.

"Maybe it was just our imagination," Mya suggested, but Lily could see she knew just as well as she did that there was most definitely someone that was following them, from school, then to the meadow.

"Do you really think we both imagined it?" Lily demanded.

"I'm not sure, I don't really have an explanation," Mya started, "It's not like someone can just disappear into thin air. Can they?" Mya seemed confused and they weren't getting anywhere without the internet, to search about the history of Savage.

"Let's go to my house after school to use my laptop to find out some of the history of Savage," Lily suggested.

Mya nodded and they started to watch the movie.

                                                                                 *          *          *

"Ok, let's start searching up the history of Savage, and stuff like that. If we can't find anything on the internet, we go to the library. If we don't find anything there, we have to go to," Lily paused to make it more dramatic, and to hold back the shiver starting to crawl up her spine, "Aria and Spencer's house,"

"Ugh, I hate that place, it's so old. Whenever we go there it gives me the creeps," Mya complained.

"Believe me, I hate going there just as much as you do, but we seriously need to figure out what's going on. With my dreams, the people following us, and now nothing about Savage on the internet," Lily said.

"What, there has to be something," Mya said moving Lily to the side of the chair, so she could sit on the other side.

"No, there's nothing, I put an S and an A and Savage Minnesota came up right away. But there's nothing about it,"

"So it's one of the most searched things, but nothing for the people that are searching it?" Mya said confused.

"Yeah, it's so weird, there's not even a wikipedia page for it,"

The two girls looked at the screen thinking before a moment before Mya said,

"Well, I guess it's to the library,"

The girls quickly went downstairs so that Lily could find her library card. Then they left the house and started to walk towards the library.

"Do you think they'll have anything on Savage at the library?" Lily asked on the way there.

"I'm honestly not sure, I kind of doubt it since there was nothing online, but who knows, I haven't been to a public library in so long, only the one at our school," Mya said as they neared the library.

Once inside they searched for the history section. After ten minutes of searching they finally found the history aisl. Mya started on the left side, and Lily started on the right side. It took about five minutes before Lily found the S section.

"Hey Mya it's over here," Lily said quietly.

Mya quietly walked over towards Lily, but she tripped over a book that had fallen on the floor.

"Oh my, are you ok?" Lily said, trying to hold back her laughter.

"Yeah, but since when was that book there?" Mya asked.

"I'm actually not sure, but we have to hurry, the library's going to close soon," Lily said.

"Ok,"

The girls searched for ten minutes before realizing if they were going to find it they would've found it already.

"There's nothing here," Mya said unhappily.

"Yeah, I guess we have to go to ... their house," Lily said unhappily.

"Can we save that until tomorrow? I think we've done enough searching for one day," Mya said.

"Yeah, maybe we could have a sleep over since, you know, schools out," Lily suggested.

"Good idea, let's go ask," Mya said gleefully.
