One late afternoon day, in Slaughterville Minnesota, a twelve year old girl named Lily Jones was sunbathing in her backyard. All of a sudden her mother called her in for dinner. Her dad was at work, and her brother was going to a sleepover really soon, so later it would just her and her mother tonight.
On her way inside she saw huge shoe traces going into her shed. Nobody in her family had that big of feet, so warily she followed the footprints into the shed. She slowly pushed open the door and unhurriedly crept inside. She she took a few steps while when;
WHACK!
Lily hit the ground with a loud thud. Her world was spinning when she opened her eyes. She stood up, once she steadied herself she looked down to see what she had tripped over. There laying in her path, were her brothers clown shoes.
"Where have you been, we've been waiting forever," Lucas, Lily's brother complained.
"Your stupid clown shoes tripped me, and I hit my head," Lily explained.
"Well maybe you should look where you're going then,"
"Maybe you should put your stuff away when you're done with it,"
"I did!" Luke exclaimed.
"I went into the shed to put away my towel," Lily lied, "Then your shoes were just laying there, and it was dark so I couldn't see,"
Luke was going to say something but their mother interrupted him,
"Guys, eat up, we need to get your father his dinner as well,"
Once the two kids were finished eating they hopped in the car and started to drive.
Within minutes the three family members were at Luke's friends house, Jeremy.
"Be good, use your manners, and don't be bossy," Mia, Lily's mother called after Luke as he scurried towards the front door.
"Mom, you say that to me every time, I know how to act," Lucas sighed.
"Ok, sorry, just a mother's instinct. I'll be here at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon, I'll pick you up at Chris', right that's where you're going?"
"Yes, I'll see you tomorrow mom,"
After Mia stressed over Luke some more, the two girls finally got to Liam Jones work. Lily's dad is a police officer, he is one of the best, so he usually has to work late.
"Hi dad," Lily bursted out the car and ran up to her dad.
"Hi cupcake," Liam said, he bent down to pick Lily up, Lily and her father look more alike than her mother and herself. Her dad is 6" and has brown hair, which in his youth was blonde, his eyes are green, and he has medium size feet, he is also very athletic. Lily is 5"4 and is still growing, she has blonde hair, which is turning brown, she has light brown eyes, and medium size feet. Lily is very athletic, she plays four sports, lacrosse, hockey, baseball, and basketball, she used to play soccer, but she stopped because she didn't want to push herself too hard. On the other hand, her mom is 5"4, had dark brown hair, brown eyes and small feet, Lily is already taller than her, and her feet are much bigger as well.
Liam bent over and whispered into Lily's ear,
"Is dinner even good?" he asked.
"Yes, it's spaghetti," Lily responded nodding.
"C'mon let's go into the station, it's getting dark," Lily's father started towards the station, Lily and Mia followed.

After five minutes Lily looked out her window out into the street and stumbled backwards at what she saw, there in the street was her neighbor. Lily was right it was a gun fire, her neighbor was lying in a pool of her own blood, Lily could tell it was her own because she could see multiple bullet holes in her stomach and chest.
Lily raced to her parents room, and saw they were already awake.
"M...m..mom, d...dad, our neighbor, street, gun, blood," was all that Lily could manage to say.
Her parents turned to her with a grin. Lily started to slowly walk backwards, Lily looked closer at her parents and realized there faces were the same. Lily stared for a while before realizing their faces were those of her brother.
