the homework rebellion

ALLISON SAT WITH MAYA AND RILEY at their usual lunch table.

"Aw, look at him looking for a place to fit in." Maya said causing the three girls to glance over at Lucas who was walking between tables.

"Do you think he'll sit with us?" Riley questioned, her usual bright smile stuck on her face.

Allison smiled before moving to the seat next to her, leaving an open seat for Lucas to sit in.
Right before Lucas sat down Farkle plopped down in the seat with a smile on his face.

"Ladies." he spoke in his flirty tone.

"Farkle." the three replied, annoyance lacing their tones.

"Interesting lunch line dilemma; chicken pot pie, pasta, or sloppy joe? Chicken pot pie, pasta or sloppy joe?" he asked looking between Riley, Allison and Maya.

"Is that all you got?" Allison asked him. "That's it, same time tomorrow." Farkle spoke before leaving with his tray.

"There he is, invite him to sit down." Maya told Allison.

Allison turned to look at Lucas who made eye contact with her. "Hey Lucas, looking for somebody special?" she asked him.

He gave her a smile before walking up to her and saying "Yeah, you."

A light blush once again coated Allison's cheeks as she comprehended Lucas' words.

Allison turned to look at Maya and Riley who were smiling at her, she jumped slightly as she turned back around to see Cory kneeling at the end of their table, next to Lucas.

"How ya doing?" he asked a big smile on his face.

"Dad, you have a choice her, you can understand that this is just a boy talking to Alli in the cafeteria,"

Cory interrupted Riley by saying "I'm going to do whatever you say next."

"But this is so innocent." Allison complained.

"Honey, god-fathers don't see anything as innocent," he spoke while moving his arm to block Lucas, "we see it as.. what's the opposite of innocent?" he trailed off.

"Right here." Maya said happily raising her hand only to receive an awkward smile from Cory.

"Please don't embarrass me." Allison told Cory.

"I'm just going to talk to Mr. Friar about geography." Mr. Matthews spoke enthusiastically.

He then turned to Lucas "You know, I've been to a lot of places. Never been to Texas though. What part of Texas is closest to Mexico?" he asked.

"That'd be El Paso sir." Lucas answered.

"Great, let's go right now." he exclaimed before standing up and pulling the chair Lucas was sitting on out of the cafeteria.

Lucas gave Allison a wave as he left which she returned with a nervous wave of her own.

The three girls than got up to throw their lunch remains away. "So did you do the homework?" Riley asked.
