Burning, pulsing
ConsumingPounding, aching
HeartbeatBuilding, beating
FlamingEyes glowing
Pulse racingDeep ragged breaths
A rising tideA wave waiting to crash down
On something or someoneNothing works to hold back the rush
That's slowly building in your chestAnd finally
When there's nothing leftCold, wet
DrippingShivering, aching
WetnessEyes shining
Pulse thumpingNose tingling
Breath choppyWet paths streaming
Fast and thickAnd then numbness
NothingAnd you go on with life
