Nothing

Burning, pulsing
Consuming

Pounding, aching
Heartbeat

Building, beating
Flaming

Eyes glowing
Pulse racing

Deep ragged breaths
A rising tide

A wave waiting to crash down
On something or someone

Nothing works to hold back the rush
That's slowly building in your chest

And finally
When there's nothing left

Cold, wet
Dripping

Shivering, aching
Wetness

Eyes shining
Pulse thumping

Nose tingling
Breath choppy

Wet paths streaming
Fast and thick

And then numbness
Nothing

And you go on with life
Nobody knowing
