Burning

6 1 2

They say to bite you tongue

Hold back your words

When the words

Are not pleasant

So I do

And the words just sit there

Burning in my mouth

Begging to be released

But I bite my tongue

And hold them back

The words burn

Hot and bright

So I lock them inside

And tuck them away

Deep inside

And cry to relieve the pain

But how long will it be

Until the pain becomes to much?

Should I bite my tongue

And let the fire consume me?
