They sit there
Laughing and crying
At the people on their screensThey sit there
Engrossed, staring
At the little deviceThey sit there
For hours and hours
With empty mindsThey sit there
Missing out on laughing and crying
With the people there with themThey sit there
While the world goes on around them
But they never noticeThey sit there
Filling their minds with nothing but empty words
Forgetting realityOn this issue, I just had to step up on the soapbox for a bit! Hope you don't mind! If you enjoyed the poem please vote and/or comment! :)
