The week had been so slow considering the fact

that i couldn't wait for friday to come. By wednesday

i couldn't stand it,i wished i had some kind of power

that helps to fast forward time or a time machine i

could set to friday evening. I couldn't wait to see him

and for us to spend time together,he had spent all

week practicing cause he had to strengthen his

muscles and his bones to get use to the routine once

again.

I always looked forward to seeing him at lunch and

our ritual phone calls at night,it kept me going but

did not make me miss him any less.

It was thursday night and i had just spoken to

AJ,while we were talking he had catnapped cause he

was so tired,the way he snored was cute so softly. i

let him sleep for a

while before i woke him up again. I felt for him,i

wanted to blame the injury but if not for it,he would

have never known i exist. i finished my homework

and got ready for bed. I slept better and i guess it

was because tomorrow was finally friday.

I heard my phone ringing in my sleep and thought i

was dreaming except that it continued,i looked at my

bedside clock,

It was twelve o'clock. i had only slept for an hour and

It was no wonder i was grumpy. i picked up my phone

And saw Jen's picture i programmed for her calls.

"Jen,what happened,whatever you have to say had

better be good for you to wake me up by this time." i

muttered into the phone,she knows how grumpy i

could get when i wake up when i had not slept

enough.

"I'm sorry just that am too excited to sleep and it

can't wait till tomorrow." Jen was shrieking into my

ear. Wow now i was curious making me alert,what

could get her so excited

"Jen tell me what happened? You shouting so loud

am sure everyone around you are awake."

"I kissed Nate!!!!!" Jen was screaming louder than

ever "Erika,am so happy i can't sit for more than a

few seconds i wanted to drive to your place to tell

you face to face but mom stopped me saying it was

late." After Jen and Nate's first date,she said it had

been too perfect to be true and she can't get hurt all

over again. Knowing Jen i knew she was just been

scared of giving it her all caused of her relationship
