A sequel dream

Most people that have clicked on this book will have an idea of Labyrinth. It is not a maze, not a dwelling place of the minotaur, not a game, it is a movie which left thousands begging for more.This is not a sequel, but a dream of a sequel, a dream I hope you share with me and will help me make reality.

This book is written to gather as much help as one person possibly could, to make my dream your dream and to end a story generations of people only dreamt off.

I will outline the plot off the movie in this story, share facts, videos and views, and outline my plan to make a sequel to to Labyrinth, an end to the story, or a beginning? Whichever way this goes, please help make the dreams of thousands become a reality.

It started with a book..., one I will forever remember and forever be thank full to the writer. However hard or easy it is to believe, this book was written on Wattpad. It is simply called; The Labyrinth, written by Katie2099.

The book it's self has nothing to do with the Fantastic, Fantasy movie; The labyrinth, released in 1986.The book is about the labyrinth in Crete, the minotaurs labyrinth. It has nothing in comparison to that of the movie, except maybe... The cover?

That is an image from the movie. Besides the cover it shares no similarities.

I remember clicking on the book when I was in search of good minotaur stories to read, I was pretty obsessed with the minotaur and willing to try anything that looked good. When I started reading the book there was an authors note to start. It stated that the author was of the impression that there was a Labyrinth movie, but they knew nothing of it, so any similarities were not intended.

Intrigued by the possibility of another good minotaur movie, ( I was just after watching two) , I searched it up, and what I found then amazed me.

No minotaur, no maze, no Greek mythology, no hero, but a girl and a goblin king.

I can honestly tell you, google is amazing. The things you can find on it! You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff my poor, poor laptop has been through after I found google... but anyhow... back to my story.

After finding myself completely drawn in by Sarah's and Jareth's story, for any one who doesn't know Sarah is the leading female character and Jareth the male as the goblin king, I went absolutely mad on YouTube. ( No my laptop did not suffer there, it was my phone that time. The laptop will get it's fair share again later.)

And just so everyone knows, when I say the goblin king I don't mean some ugly goblin, but I mean a hot assed, awesome guy ( with wicked hair! No seriously, I mean it, his hair is awesome!) Played by none other than the famous,

Anyway..... Moving on. Where was I? No seriously I can't remember. Man I hate having to scroll all the way to the top. Ever had that? It's annoying.

Ok got it.

I forgot. -_- . Don't you dare laugh, it's not funny! This is actually happening! I really didn't make it up.

And up I go.

And back down..... YouTube . Though I better write it down this time.

So after totally falling in love with the Jareth character, there won't be many girls who don't I can assure you, I tried finding the movie.

Of course I didn't find it.... and yes, I was practically crying.

Instead I found a sequel manga, a bum load of videos, a not working YouTube movie :( , a heap ( or two, three) of lying movie sites and a mountain range the size of America of pictures ( didn't complain to loud with them, but my laptop memory is getting dangerously low.)

So after Weeks of searching and staring sadly at pictures I decided to read the manga. And let me tell you I do not regret it.

Not only is the manga extremely good and not to mention pretty hilarious ( everyone is entitled to their own opinion thank you very much) , my sister sneaked behind my laptop, earning her a fair bit of shouting. But she accidentally clicked into a link and suddenly, voila, there's the movie.

You can guess how many times I hugged my sister then and how many times we watched it. Damn you, Bowie and those tight pants of yours!

Of course nothing I perfect....

Yup you guessed it. The sound was out off time with the movie.

Thank God, or the uploader , it had subtitles which were in time.

And just so you know how many times we watched it, my laptop is still suffering. Day and night.

After YouTube but before the movie came Facebook. Never though I could get addicted, but when Labyrinth, and I shamelessly admit it wasn't the only thing - but I'll explain that later, is in your face constantly it's hard not to.

After finding several abandoned pages I decided it was time to get an active page. So I recently set up my own page - Labyrinth Sequel Petition. If you wana help, let me know by message or comment ( on Facebook, idiots -_- . I'm kidding, your all brilliant little minds.) . There was off course one problem, I can't add pictures, clips and links through my phone so I have to use my laptop. See what I mean it's getting abused. Someone call the laptop welfare line, it's unpaid labour! Laptop slave labour!

So now that I've completely lost track of what I started with and hopefully not put you all off reading this I will continue.

The movie is brilliant. It is a piece of art, created by a mastermind. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!!!!!!!! Ok?

Now.

I believe that after Labyrinth the story wasn't finished. Anyone else feel like that? I'd like to ensure the story gets finished. There's multiple possibilities to do so.

If enough people sign a petition then the movie will be made. It has been done before so it can be done again. Thinking about it it's easy really, all you do is write down your name. Off course there's more work behind the scenes. Pun intended. But don't worry about that, leave it to me, my team ( that's right, I have a team ;) , wana help let me know) and the experts.

People have waited long enough for this movie, it's time to finish what Jim Henson started twenty seven years ago.

But the question is; will you help me?

Think about it, if we succeed imagine the possibilities. Imagine being responsible for the release if a movie. How about imagine it no longer. Help.
