Same...,yet different

We were buds of the same bush

But I was the first to bloom

To spread in the world

The fragrance and joy

Beside me stayed the bud

And I looked upon it

Same like me, bursting with energy

But time told -she is different

And how fast  time ran

The bud next to me flourished

It bloomed to its fullest

But now, no more was I wanted

It hurts that I was remembered

For only the unending needs

But forgotten once they took

What was needed from me

As I looked upon the bud

Now a little blooming flower

She was praised and raised

Not a scar in her perfect face

We were buds of the same bush

Yet somehow made different

Both the sun and rain seemed to have

Forgotten me being there

I stood there, No choice I had

I don't remember receiving touches

Or tender cares like her

And time still went by

Now that I start to wilt

I still looked upon her

Not that she needed me

But to let her know I was here

And what most amazed me

There she stood still in glory

She hadn't aged nor wilt

Coz she had it that  I didn't - Love and affection.......
