*Chapter 31* FINAL

Killua found (Y/n) on the rooftop. She was there, sitting and gazing at the stars. She smiled to herself.

"(Y/n)?" Killua called out. (Y/n) turned around and saw her student standing there. She patted the unoccupied space beside her then looked back at the sky.

Killua sat beside her, trying to find a comfortable position. There was a long silence but it was not an awkward one. It was a peaceful one.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Killua asked, curiously.

"Hm?" (Y/n) hummed in response. She tilted her head with her mouth half opened, "I don't know, to be honest."

"What were you doing out here alone?" Killua asked for the second time.

"I like being alone sometimes. Just not most of the time. I like quiet places as well." She answered, crossing her legs and using her hands for support.

"I'm bored now." (Y/n) stated. She placed her strand of her hair behind her ear, glancing at Killua. "Wanna play 'would you rather'?"

"You're on! Give me your best shot!" Killua grinned. (Y/n) let out a smirk.

"Would you rather save Gon or save Alluka?" The words escaped from her mouth.

"Alluka, because why not?"

The two then exchanged a mix of embarrassing questions. Lucky for (Y/n) it was dark so Killua couldn't see her blush at said questions.

When suddenly, lights appeared at the sky. It was like a celestial ballet of light of mixed colours. It looked like it was dancing at the dark sky.

This is what she always wanted to see ever since she was young. The northern lights.

Killua brought his arm around (Y/n)'s shoulder, bringing her closer to him. (Y/n) blushed harder than ever.

"W-what are you doing?" She stuttered. Killua brought her closer.

"I- I just thought you were cold."

Killua twirled a lock of her hair around his finger. Both of them enjoyed the sight of the lights.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" (Y/n) said, "hey, can I maybe ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"W-what if y-you don't need me as your teacher? I bet you'll be in rank #1. I'm sure you won't need me anymore. We won't see each other again and I don't want that! I had fun with you, Killua!"

Killua was shocked by her words. He didn't know what to do at that time. (Y/n) was right. What if that really happened?

"(Y/n), we'll always be together forever. I consider you as a friend, not a teacher. I've always wanted to ask you a question too."

"Yeah?"

"(Y/n), how do we love?"

"Well, y-you basically care for someone, you get to know them better and more." (Y/n) answered as she scratched her cheek.

"W-what if that happened to the both of us?" Killua asked. (Y/n) blinked before she laughed.

"Us? No way! We're just friends!" (Y/n) said between laughs. This made Killua mad.

He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. Killua grabbed (Y/n) by her shoulders. Their eyes met with each others'.

Killua took a deep breath. He looked down with his bangs covering his sapphire blue orbs.

"Y-you damn person! I thought I would have a chance but you just had to ruin it! I don't want to leave you, (Y/n)! Never ever! I want to learn more things with you, I want to do more things with you!" Killua spoke.

Killua crashed his lips against (Y/n)'s. She was surprised at first but kissed back anyway with the northern lights playing at the background. They parted away. Tears rolled down (Y/n)'s cheek.

"(Y/n) (L/n), I love you. Will you be mine?"
