Sequel-Part 1: SAM’S POV

9 Years Later (Making Sam 25 years old)

“Hey babe, can you help Robert pick out his clothes for today?”
“Sure hun. Trent, Michael, please come downstairs and help out mommy!” My two boys come running down the stairs. “Robert go upstairs with daddy to get your clothes.”

I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since I’ve dated him and now we are married and have three beautiful triplets. Robert Quin, Trent Aden and Michael Sadler. All with a beautiful last name, Case. Robert was the oldest of the triplets, but the shortest; he had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes.  Trent was the middle children and the tallest. He was only 5 and was almost 4 feet tall. He differently gets his height from his father. He has bleach blonde hair and bold green eyes. And Michael was the youngest, only by 8 seconds though. He had dirty blonde and hazel eyes. He was a mix of both his father and I. After our sons were born we moved to Ohio to be closer to my husband’s parents. We bought a bungalow right beside Lake Erie. Neither of us have seen anyone from Huntington Beach in the last 4 years. While in Huntington I went to live with him in his apartment and after having the triplets we moved. I go occasionally to visit my aunt and cousins, but she just lectures me on how I’m stupid for having kids at such a young age. I never listen to her though. After leaving Keaton I have learned to not believe anything anyone says to me. I haven’t seen Keaton since the day 9 years ago at the hotel. That was the last day I saw him and hope to never see him again. But because we still care about Emblem3 we named our kids after them, using their middle names.

Once getting ready our sons and us headed out to the park. We packed into the car and headed out. Once getting down the street the car stopped...in the middle of an intersection. That’s when it hit me. Keaton’s dream he had told me about. “We have to get out of here now!” I whipped open my door and went to the back to grab Trent, Robert and Michael. My husband jumped out of the car and went to the other side to help get the kids out. “Mommy, what’s going on?”
“It’s ok Robert; everything is going to be ok.” I look up at Robert and see it. “Hun, what’s the matter?” But before I could answer it hit us.

I sit in the hospital with Trent, Robert and Michael. Trent has a broken arm, Robert has a broken wrist and Michael has a broken leg; while I have a broken arm and a concussion from trying to protect my sons. My husband took the most damage though. “Excuse me, Mrs. Case. May I speak to you for a minute?” I nod. “You three stay here; I’m just going to talking to the doctor that’s fixing up daddy.” They nod and sit quietly in their seats. I go over to the doctor. “Is he ok?”
“I’m sorry Mrs. Case, but there’s nothing we can do.” I immediately drop to my knees. I start balling my eyes out. My sons come over to me. “Mommy, is everything ok? Why are you crying?” I hear Trent ask. I sit up and cross my legs. “Huns, come sit here.” They walk over to me and sit in front of me. “They couldn’t help daddy, but he is in a safe place now. He isn’t coming home with us, but he is with grandma and grandpa now.” I see tears fall from their eyes. “I hope he is ok now.”
“He is Michael. He is watching us right now. He is telling us not to cry because even though he isn’t here we have to imagine he is.” They nod. “Now go sit down again, I’m going to go see the doctor.” They walk back to their seats and I go into his room. “Hey babe, I can’t believe this has happened. Somehow Keaton knew that this was all going to happen, but neither of us actually thought it would happen. It was in a dream, we ran out of gas and then...it all happened. I don’t know what to do now that I’m all on my own with the three of them. But I know that if you were here right now you would tell me to be strong, for the kids and not to cry. Well, you know that I’m strong and that when I make promises I don’t break them. So, promise I’ll be strong. This isn’t goodbye, just a new hello. I guess this is hello Tyler. “

KEATON’S POV

“Ok guys, that’s a wrap! Good job!” We have been a group for almost 10 years now. I can’t believe we have stayed together that long. I leave the studio and check my phone. I have 5 missed calls from a very familiar number, Sam’s cell. “Hey Keaton, who’s been calling you?”
“Sam.” Is all I said. I haven’t talked to her in 9 years, why would she all of a sudden call me. For whatever reason, I called her back. She picked up after the first ring. “Hello, Sam?”
“Hey Keats, how’s it going?” She still calls me that after 9 years. “It’s good, recording still. How about you? How’s Tyler?” I found out a few years ago that they have been dating. She choked at the sound of his name. “Life’s good. Tyler and I got married and we have three kids now, triplets.”
“Wow, congrats Sam. How long ago? What are their names?”
“5 years ago and Michael, Trent and Robert.” I realized those were mine, Wes’ and Drew’s middle names. “Those are our middle names.” I smiled at the thought that she still thought of me. “Yea, it was Tyler’s idea.” I ask again how Tyler is and she chokes again. “Sam, is everything alright? You choke up every time I say his name.”
“Um Keaton, Tyler died this afternoon. We got into a car crash.” This time I choked. I can’t believe my best friend is gone and I hadn’t talked to him in 5 years. “I need you Keaton. The boys and I are coming up tomorrow to see my cousins and I was wondering if we could stay with you.” I was still shocked over the fact the Ty was dead. “Yes! Yes, of course you can stay with us. Whatever you need, we are here for you.”
“Thanks Keats, also could you come to get us at the airport? We land around 3pm.” I checked the calendar on my phone quickly to make sure we didn’t have to be at the studio. “Yea, sure Sam. I’ll see you tomorrow then.” She said goodbye and hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and fell to the floor and started crying. “Keaton, what’s the matter?” Wes and Drew run over to me and kneel beside me. “He’s gone Wes, Tyler, he’s gone. They got in a car crash.”
“Who’s they?” Drew asked
“Tyler, Sam, Trent, Robert and Michael. They got married and had triplets and named them after us.”
“And he’s gone now. We didn’t even get to say goodbye.” Wes said
“I know bro. Sam and the kids are coming up tomorrow. I’m going to get them at the airport around 3 and I said they could stay with us.”
“Yea, for sure! Whatever they need.” Wes cheered up at the fact that Sam was coming up.
“Thanks bro. Can we head home now?” Drew nodded and we headed back to our house.

A/N: That is probably my favourite chapter in the book. I have no clue what I was doing, but the thought of bringing back the dream just popped into my head. I know some of you probably hate me for killing Tyler, but I had to. Part 2 will be up in the next couple of days:) ENJOYING? VOTE>FOLLOW>COMMENT<3
