"GOD DAMMIT! WHAT DID THAT RUNT TELL THEM!" man yelled. He took a deep breath, "they've scattered now, come on." I laid down on the little bed that was inside the poké-ball, along with it there was food and water that constantly replenished itself and two or three little toys. Above me was a giant window, presumably the red section of the poké-ball, which gave me a view of the sky above, and of people when I was in the right spot.
"Sir," I heard one say, "don't you think that they would have scattered when you caught one of them anyways?"
"WELL OF COURSE THEY WOULD!" he bellowed, "Why do you think I was aiming for the big one and not bothering with this weakling!" he shook the poké-ball I was in then attached it to his belt and started walking. He travelled like that for a while than the movement changed. It went from a sort of walking bounce to a constant rocking motion.
"Sir, if I may ask, why did you not want the mother?" I heard someone ask.
"Recruits find the older guys hard to work with," My captor answered simply, "besides, the young ones grow up around us so they see the sense behind our cause."

I paced and paced, the sun had risen hours ago but I no longer had sight of it. All I saw was silver above me and my captor, I assumed that we had entered a human den but there was no way to be sure. "Well, well boys. You got me any recruits?" I heard the man say.
"Yes sir, quite a few." Someone said, "But..."
"But what, whose causing trouble?"
"No one sir!" said the man quickly, "it's just... one of the girls we got... she seems to be quite defiant."
He laughed, "Is that all! We can train that out, we've done with many before." That made my ears flatten against my head, could he do that with pokémon too? I didn't want to work for these guys but he made it sound like I didn't have a choice.
"How was todays catch sir?" he said, "I hear you travelled quite far to find some rare pokémon."
"You heard correctly, we were aiming to get some of the more elusive ones."
"How'd it go?"
"Managed to nab an Abra and a Ralts the slippery little devils. A Shinx, not too rare but you don't find them around here. Oh and a runt of an Eevee." He added as an afterthought. "Actually I have a plan for that defiant girl of yours."
Oh no, I thought, this is going to be bad. I've heard enough from this man to know that anything he plans is not good.
"Let's introduce these recruits to their pokémon shall we."
