Chapter 3

Percy POV

Mr.Sir led us into his office. The officer followed behind us. When in Mr.Sir's office he sits down behind his desk and grabs a handful of sunflower seeds. "What's up with the seeds uncle?" Asked Jason. "Gave up smokin." Said Mr.Sir. "OK you will all address me as Mr.Sir. You will wake up at 4:30 am every morning and go dig holes out on the lake. 5 foot deep 5 around." Mr.Sir explained. "Come on." He said.

He got up and walked out of the office. We followed after him with stares all on us. We arrived in front of a cabin with jump suits and black boots inside. Mr.Sir all handed us each two pair of orange jump suits and a pair of boots. "One pair will be your working suit other for relaxation. Laundry is done once every 3 days." He said. He also handed us a canteen with Jason's being only slightly bigger. A skinny man with a flappy hat on and sun screen on his nose came in with a smile on his face.

Seriously how can someone be so happy here? I shared a look with Jason and Nico. This guy is a total fake. "I am Dr.Pendanski and I will be you councillor starting today you will be in D-Tent. D stands for diligence. I will let you all change before we go." He said. We all changed into our jumpsuits and left with Pendanski. He showed us around like he was in a hurry. We arrived at an greenish brownish tent with a capitol D on the side of it.Pendanski opened the flap and let us inside. " Boys welcome to D-Tent." Pendanski said.

There was 7 boys inside. Three were black, three were white, one is Mexican. "Mom are these the new ones?" Asked a chubby black kid. " Yes they are Theodore." He said. " Boys this is Rex, Theodore, Jose, Stanley, Ricky, Zero, and Alan." "Guys this is Frank, Leo, Nico, Percy, and Jason." Pendanski said.

I looked at Jason and Alan they were both blushing. Ricky was really cute to me. Wait what I haven't even known this guy for even a day how can I think of him as cute? " Yo is X-Ray, Armpit, Magnet, Caveman, ZigZag, Zero, and Squid." X-Ray said. "Yes you all have your nicknames but I prefer to call them by their real names the names society will recognize them by." Pendanski said. " Sure mom whatever." Armpit said. "Well I will see all of you tomorrow." Mom said. And with that he was gone.
