I ran toward the factory, kicking the dew off the uncut grass in the alleyways on the way. I woke up extra early on this Saturday to practice with the new exciting tech Don had made for me. After reaching the door out of breath, I opened the door to find that no one was home.

"Great, just like I wanted, some alone time," I thought to myself as I half jogged toward my case that carried my outfit and my weapon.

I put on the outfit over my clothes, then picked up the high tech handle walking over to the practice area full of metal to test my abilities against. Lava began to ooze out of the handle moving in mid-air like it was alive, then connected back to my handle forming a medieval mace and chain that I had seen in my history class the day before. Smiling, I sent the new weapon in a full swing into a piece of scrap metal. After many different formations of different weapons, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Picking it up, I saw that Ryle texted me.

"Hey dude, want to hang at Falls Park?" It read. I began to type.

"Sure, hold on though, I need to get ready." I texted back, then shoved my phone back into my pocket.

I melted the weapon I had forged a couple minutes ago and sent it back into the handle. Next I took off the special black clothes outlined in red with the special matching cargo pants, revealing my everyday clothing consisting of a band t-shirt and khakis. Placing my special clothing into the protective showcase, I looked down at the handle, not seeming to want to part with it. So I grabbed my protective clothing, wrapped it around the handle like a burrito so I wouldn't catch the clothes I was currently wearing on fire. It didn't hurt me one bit when I stuffed it into my pocket along with my phone. With the slam of the factory door, I looked out into the afternoon sky, took a deep breath, and started to take my own personal shortcut to the park. I walk almost everywhere, so I memorized the shortest routes to almost everywhere. Within a couple minutes, I made it to the park by walking through backyards, alleyways, etc. I saw that Ryle was with the rest of the gang which was my brother Sam, Alec, Will, and Nic. They were hanging around one of the picnic tables, being laidback like usual.

"What's up guys?" I said as I approached them, then took a seat on top of the picnic table.

"Oh, just the usual...thinking of how to do another movie for YouTube," my brother Sam responded back as he and Alec started into a huge discussion on their own.

"Hey guys, what do you want to do while these two go at it?" I asked the group that remained which was Ryle, Nic, and Will.

"I don't know, I'm kinda getting bored though," Will said, speaking his mind.

"Want to take a walk?" Nic asked eager to get up and do something.

"Sure, you up for it Levi and Will?" Ryle asked making sure everybody wanted to before we headed out.

"Yeah, it's good with me." I said over Sam and Alec's discussion, which I just tuned out to mumbles.

"Same here, as long as we do something, I don't really care," Will said as we all got up from the picnic table in unison.

We started to walk on the many trails in the park, sharing memories and stories along the way.

"Remember the time we used to climb this old wall and just talk?" Will said, pointing to a wall built out of gigantic cement blocks.

"Oh yeah, we had our own sections and everything." I said, remembering the old times.

"What about the time we climbed under the bridge?" Ryle asked, seeing if the rest of us remembered.

"Man, I remember, it had so much graffiti, but we didn't care! It was so cool to explore back then." Nic said, as we all agreed with nods and laughter.
