I stood there facing Tomas and Grace with my back to the headquarters, which was now my friends' final resting place. Feeling all kinds of emotions, I stood there with the anger and depression emitting off of me. Brookelynne's last words kept echoing inside of my head.

"Alright now, create a portal!" Tomas ordered to me while Grace waited nearby.

"Why? Only I can enter," I asked, still angry, but also confused.

"Because alone I'm too weak...but wait! You still haven't reached your full potential and I can't go back until you do. Maybe you need some motivation Levi!" Tomas yelled loud enough so Ryle could hear from the back yard, "Ryle, kill Levi!".

Within seconds, Ryle sped into me and knocked me down, using my own brother's gift against me. He then began to hit with the speed of Sam and the strength of Brookelynne as I tried to fight him off. Ryle was too fast and strong for me to overtake him.

"Levi, you've got to look inside yourself," Tomas said lecturing me with his usual crazy talk.

Seeing how Ryle's eyes were heating up. I knew he was summoning another one of Brookelynne's abilities... her laser eyes. I struggled with all my might, but could not get free. Then he looked me dead in the eyes, sending a ray of intense heat. Instantly, I felt the searing pain in my eyes. I tried to open my eyes, but for some reason I could only see darkness. Suddenly, I realized that I was blind!

Ryle then picked me up and threw me into the headquarters wall, leaving an imprint of my humongous body in the concrete. With lightning speed, cracks spread throughout the building. Eli's freezing abilities were the next weapon Ryle employed in order to freeze me to the wall. Next, he fired bolts of lightning at my body as fast as he could. My body was covered in burns and blood on the outside, while the inside consisted of mostly broken bones.

Tomas walked up, waving his hand slightly, signaling to Ryle to stop.

"I guess you are not as powerful as you were in my time. I don't want to do this... after all you were my idol. In my time, you were the only one who accepted me while no one else did. I wish there was another way, but I cannot return unless I do this. You must hurry and reach your full potential, time is of utmost importance," Tomas said, revealing why he hunted me down which was still said in riddle form.

"Levi, I know you don't understand why I'm doing this but it's all for the greater good, but if you don't succeed in this fight the world will perish. No one else can do it, only you can," Tomas said, as he signaled to Ryle to continue the fight.

As Ryle formed an ice spike, I cringed and prepared for death by saying a silent prayer. Before he was about to pierce my skin, I felt different. Something happened...I slowly regained my sight and saw that I had been transported somewhere else. It was pitch black, but it was soothing. I felt at home. I looked down at my hands to see they were their normal color after what seems like years of being stuck in the shape of a demon. But suddenly, I heard a quiet whisper of someone talking. I started to walk in the direction I thought I heard it from.

"Levi," The voice whispered.

"Yes?" I answered in a question, trying to understand what is going on.

"Levi, listen carefully, we don't have much time," the voice went on, growing louder to a normal voice level.

"Ok, I'm listening," I said, too confused to think of any questions to ask.

"You must learn how to forgive. It is not Tomas' fault...he is confused and misguided like all who live on Earth," the voice explained.

"But he is a psychopath! He killed all my friends and brainwashed my best friend to do his dirty work. Why should he deserve forgiveness?" I asked, arguing with the unknown voice.
