Jacques Pov.
I couldn't see.
I couldn't breath.
My lungs were on fire, and yet I was enjoying this deathly feel.
What was going on?
Seconds later I come to find myself being yanked up by a strong pair of arms, and when I reached the surface it was like I left my body and was viewing what was happening in a different body.
There was a little girl, brown hair and big chocolate eyes, being pulled up from a pond by a man whose body was there, but not really there at the same time.
It was like he was invisible, but yet still see able.
The little girl looked up and giggled at him. 'Daddy!' She said, looking up at him with her chocolaty eyes, which were growing bigger and more amused as she looked at him.
'Jaybird!' he mused, laughter creeping into his voice. 'What were you doing under there?'
'I was trying to watch the fishies but they scampered away! Make them come back!'
'Darling, they will come back when they want to.' The father mused, looking at his daughter with as much love as only a parent can show.
The child, obviously frustrated, replied with, 'But I want them to come back NOW, Daddy!"
He chuckled. 'Patience, young one." And with that last word, he left his daughter, standing in the pond, to head back to dry land.
'Daddy, where are you going?" The daughter called.
"I'm heading in to get you a towel. I'll be right back, Jaybird.' And then he was gone.
The daughter, still wanting to see the cute little gold and grey fishies, stood there. Suddenly, she felt a tickle on the bottom of her foot. She was more ticklish than frighten able, so she stood there, laughing until her little stomach hurt.
Tears streaming out of her eyes, she wiped them and opened her eyes.
