Harry’s P.O.V
She was different. She had dyed her hair a shade of brown that made her look sweet yet strong at the same time. It wasn’t just the hair that made her look different; it was how she felt. Definitely much colder than when I first met her. But that didn’t stop me from... liking her.
So when she asked me who our ‘special someones’ were I couldn’t help but tell her that I liked her. Louis obviously liked the idea too as he gave me a small supporting nudge. But for Delisa, that wasn’t the case. As soon as I looked into her eyes and said some of the words I wanted to say, she cut me off and dragged us all back stage.
Which is where I was standing right now and where Delisa stood with her hands on her hips looking at me, her startling blue eyes piercing mine like cold ice.
“Harry, let me get this straight. We. Us. Are nothing!” Her eyes got colder with every word, “What you were going to say there was going to ruin my career and yours as well! I work for a part of the media. You are the subject of my job and to me you’ll always be the subject!”
I studied her closely, behind all the stage make-up, I saw bags under her eyes. It looked as if she hadn’t slept in ages. My eyes wandered to her anger-filled eyes, and there I saw it. Doubt. I knew she liked me, and she knew I liked her. I guess that’s what they mean when they say, ‘Love isn’t complicated, the people are.’
I held her with a stare, “You know what?”
“What!?” her cold expression changed into clear confusion.
“I don’t believe you...” I simply said before walking away.
“You guys are on in five!” I smiled at the man dressed in black, knowing that the eyes of everyone were on me.

“So boys, I hear the movie ‘This is Us’ is about to be released in the cinemas in 3D!” she smiled and waited after the long cheers and screaming girls, “and I hear you have a special present for our audience tonight?”
“Yes, we all have tickets for you and a friend to see ‘This is Us!” Liam said, as the crowd screamed once more. He turned back to Delisa and spoke in a much colder tone, “And there’s two for you... If you have friends.”
Ouch, what a blow. The audience grew silent... I knew they were wondering why Liam had suddenly changed his attitude towards Delisa. I wanted to say something but as much as I was mad at Delisa, I liked her.
But it seemed like Delisa was smarter than him though, she threw her head back and laughed, “I actually do! All. 10. Seasons.”
I smiled, trying to meet her eyes. She looked away hastily and kept asking us questions.
Delisa’s P.O.V
I stared at myself in the mirror. Liam was right... I had no friends. Miranda and Cody were family, not friends. Ella and Erin were Miranda’s friends. My true friends were Harry and the rest of One Direction. I watched as the tears fell down my cheeks. My ‘new beginnings’ weren’t supposed to consist of being lonely, or saying hurtful things. It was meant to have everything I had in Australia but better. I was meant to be wiser, not stupid. I was most definitely not meant to like a boy.
I walked out of the dressing room and slowly walked to the studio. There wasn’t anyone there, I flicked through my music and selected ‘Low.’ I’ve danced before, that time in studio with the Take Me Home crew, it felt good. Maybe dancing could be my friend again... Maybe I could dance again. I stopped. Hip hop reminded me too much of ‘home’. I changed the song to ‘Young and Beautiful’. I’ve done ballet and contemporary but hip hop was always my favorite. If I was to ever change anything about myself, I should change my dancing first. I spun around and around so much it got to the point where I dropped to the ground lying down on my back and just listened to the music. I fluttered my eyes closed and breathed in and out.
“When you dance, it’s like you’re in another world, and you wouldn’t care if the studio was on fire,” someone said.
I sat up and saw a blonde boy leaning against the stereo.
“It allows me let out everything, and think properly,” I sighed as I watched Niall walked towards me. He stretched a hand out.
“C’mon, this is one of my favorite songs,’ he laughed. I took his hand, and stood up. I wrapped my arms around his neck, there was a comfortable silence. Inhale, exhale. This felt kind of nice.
We swayed for a while and he twirled me around, “Are we really the subject of your work?’
‘No,’ I groaned, ‘I say stupid things that I don’t mean when I’m frustrated!’
He stopped dancing and placed his hands on my shoulder and stared into my eyes. His eyes were filled with honesty and concern, “You know, Harry really likes you.”
After letting out a hesitated sigh, I replied, “I know.”
