Miranda’s POV
I took the stairs instead of waiting for the freaking elevator! Cody told me today was when Delisa was going to find out if she got the job, and since I had to go early to rehearsals, I couldn’t find out! I texted her during my breaks;
To Delisa:
So? Did you get the job?
From Delisa
Jeez, it’s freaking 8.30 in the morning…
To Delisa:
Oops, forgot about the time zones!
From Delisa:
Yup
To Delisa:
Check the mail when you wake up!
From Delisa:
Mail? Has society forgotten about e-mail? But mail is more exciting. I guess.
To Delisa:
My Break is over, gotta go, bye! See you at lunch.

Night? That girl worries me sometimes.
I reached level 5 and ran towards the door and quickly unlocked it.
“Delisa,” I sang.
I walked into the living room and saw her on the red couch (still in her PJs) with a letter in her hand.
“So…” I asked.
“I-I …” and she burst into tears. I ran to her and hugged her tightly.
“Shh, honey it’s not the end of the world if you didn’t get into-” I said comforting her.
“No, Mandi I got it. I got it,” she sobbed.
“Then, why are you crying?” I asked gently.
“Because my first interview is with Katy Perry,” she looked up, wiped her tears away and gave me a wet smile.
“OH-MY-FREAKING-CAT!” I screamed, and then I realized my eyes too, were full of tears.
Delisa sighed, “I know right, I need to go to the bathroom.”
She left.
Time for a celebration, I think. I texted Cody.
To Cody:
Do you think I can take Delisa to tonight’s concert?
From Cody:
Sure :) I’ll ask Paul right now!
From Cody:
He said YES!
To Cody:
Thanks Cody! You are simply the best :)
