This could not be happening. It was all too good to come true. My eyes fluttered open as I saw the time. 7:35 am.
I grabbed my phone to see a good morning text from Charlie. My BF.

Good morning beautiful girl. I'm damn sure ur sleeping right now but that's okay because your phone is always on silent when you sleep.
He isn't wrong.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm so glad you said yes and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Until you break up with me of course. Anyway your amazing and the hottest girl I have ever met. I love you so much baby girl. Text me when you wake up.

I chuckled at his hilarious comments and smiled at his sweetest. This boy really was going to be the death of me. I texted him back.

I put my phone down and crawled out of bed. Monday mornings were the worst. I was always cranky and on top of that guess what?!? It was that time of the month.
I felt like my stomach was going to explode and I could pass out any moment. See the thing about me, is that I'm anemic. I have a lack of iron in my body, which makes it harder to produce large amounts of blood. Lost? Okay let me break it down. If you have 4 pints of blood I would have 2.5 pints instead. My blood is also thinner. It's a real life struggle. So my you know what lasts for a freaking 10 days! 10 days. So when I'm on it you better not mess with me or I'll break your face.
But moving on, I gathered all my energy and took a nice long bath with pink scented bubbles. My favorite. I grabbed a pair of clothes threw them on, ran downstairs and sat at my counter. I had nothing to eat.
Ugh.
I sprawled out on my couch, only to realize that my phone was on my bed. I saw the home phone just a few inches away and grabbed it without moving from my position. I called up Charlie.
"Rise and shine sleepy head." He chuckled.
"No. It's a bad morning."
"Oh shit. What's the date?"
"The 29th why?"
"I totally forgot it's that time of the month isn't it?"
What a creep! He knows when I have it? Um..
"What! No!"
"Baby girl, last month you had it at the same time. You came up to me and said that you were on it and u needed medical attention and then walked away."
"Oh... Yea it is then I guess. Sorry if I made u unhappy or hurt your feelings. I have nothing to eat and I'm hungry."
"I'll be over with food in 20."
"Really?"
"Yea. Look we might be dating but nothing has changed I'll still bring you food in the morning."
"Nothing changed?"
"Babe we were already dating. We just finally gave ourselves the title."
"Oh. Okay." I said trying to contain my excitement.
"Okay I'll be over as soon as I can okay? Be careful? Okay. I love you baby girl."
"Ily too handsome. Thank you."
"Anytime." He said as he hung up.
That's my boyfriend everybody. Holla.
"YES!" I yelled as pain shot through me.
Fuck that hurt.
I never understood cramps and quite frankly I never will.
I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv.
Disney. Nope.
Say yes to the dress. Nope.
Bones. Nope.
Love it or list it. Nope.
Castle. Nope.
The proposal. Yes.
I sat there sprawled on the couch crying because of the movie.
"MARRY HER U IDIOT! U LOVE HER AND SHE LOVES U!" I yelled at the screen as my front door opened.
"I KNOW KARATE!" I yelled as I picked up a pillow in defense.
"I come in peace and with food." A deep voice said as he revealed his face.
"Charlie don't do that!"
"Sorry sorry. I know you can't get up. Plus I have an extra key to your house."
"Oh okay. Gimme my food please."
"Yes ma'am. Okay so here's a java chip frappe from Starbucks extra whip cream. Chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and sour patches. Do you want me to get you anything else?"
I started crying. I couldn't control it and tears ran down my face, as my eyeliner dropped down my face. And I couldn't stop.
"Baby? Baby are these hormones or actual tears?"
I slapped him across the back and he burst out laughing.
"Okay okay real tears. What happened? Shit did I order something wrong? Crap I should've known. I can go get something else. I'll back be in like 5 minutes I swear. What do you want? Dunkin instead? Donuts? Munchkins? Something else to drink or eat? I'm so sorry." He rambled as I cut him off putting my hand to his mouth.
"What- what did you get yourself?" I managed to ask between breaths.
"Oh uh nothing."
"Charlie take my java chip frappe."
"No I'm fine really. I finished my Starbucks on the way here."
"Promise?" I asked back.
"Yea." He said bluntly as his eyes refused to make contact with mine.
He was lying.
"What did you have for dinner yesterday?"
"What?"
"What did you have for dinner yesterday Charlie?"
"Uh nothing."
"And breakfast this morning?"
"I uh..."
"Charlie the truth."
"Nothing."
"Eat with me."
"Okay." He said softly as a smile crept up on his face.
This was a start to a great week. Will it always be like this??
