“Ladies, ladies, please.”
Liam had stopped the car and began to get out. The girls suddenly all stopped shouting and calmed down, turning to look at him as he spoke. The hunger behind their eyes was rampant. I could’ve sworn I saw one girl ready to pounce. But they didn’t dare move.
“This is Leah. She’s Niall’s cousin. She’s visiting from the states. Niall is busy so he asked if I could show her around town.”
The girls turned to face me again, their faces much less violent looking. They all smiled and waved before running over to Liam, begging him for pictures or autographs. I sat in the car awkwardly, watching as he said hello to every single girl. I smiled slightly at this. He truly cared about his fans. It was rather cute. Suddenly, a little girl who couldn’t have been older then 8 waddled up to the open window.
“Excuse me? Niall’s cousin? Can I get a picture with you? You’re really pretty.” The girls mother stood with the camera in her hands and a smile on her face. I looked at the little girl with a huge grin, opening the door and stepping out.
“Sure sweetie. What’s your name?” I asked, crouching down to her level. “Taylor.” she replied, smiling big.
“Taylor? Thats my best friends name.” She gasped, looking at me. “Really?! That’s so cool!” Kneeling down next to her, her mother took the picture and thanked me.
“I’m sorry about her. She loves everything One Direction. I guess that includes Niall’s family.” the mother said, shrugging. I let out a small laugh.
“It’s okay. She’s cute.” The girls began to disperse. Liam was leaning up against the car as I said goodbye to the little girl. I spun around to face him. He had a big smile on his face. I smiled back, tucking some hair behind my ear nervously.
“That was sweet.” he said, sliding into the car. I followed his lead, getting in and buckling up.
“Is it like that for you all the time?” I asked, changing the subject as he started the car up again, pulling away from the curb. Liam shrugged.
“Not all the time. I mean..it all depends.” he said, checking his rearview mirror. I couldn’t imagine not being able to go out in public without getting mobbed. Pulling into a parking lot, he put the car in park, hopped out of the drivers seat and opened the door for me. Gosh, he was such a gentleman. I thanked him and got out, smiling. We were standing in front of this quaint little building. I could only assume it was the pizza place, seeing as the sign read Gino’s Pizza in big red lettering. We walked inside together and were greeted by a boy who could’nt have been a year or two older than Liam himself.
“Hey, mate! Good to see you again.” The boy said, shaking Liam’s hand. Liam smiled, shaking it back.
“Hey Thomas. Can I get the usual table?” he asked, before sliding his arm through mine.
“I’m here with Leah tonight.” Thomas turned to look at me and beamed.
“Nice to meet you, Leah.” he greeted. I nodded at him with a small smile, not quite sure what to say. “Gosh, Liam. She’s beautiful.” he said, grabbing some menus and walking away. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Liam’s face turn bright red as we followed him to a table in back. Thomas pulled out the chair for me and I sat down, smoothing my jeans, taking the menu he slid into my hands. Liam pulled out his own chair and nodded at Thomas, who gave him a small nudge with a smirk, walking away back towards the front. “
Sorry about him. Family friend.” Liam mumbled, opening his menu. I giggled a little, looking over my menu at my date.
“Don’t be sorry. He was charming.” Liam laughed softly, before turning his gaze back to the menu. We sat in silence for a few moments until the waitress came over.
“Welcome back, Liam.” she said with a smile, pulling out her pad and pen. Apparently he was well known here. The waitress turned to look at me.
“Hello, there. My name is Jenna, I’ll be your waitress for this evening. What can I get for you?” she asked with a pleasent smile. Thank god she wasn’t one of those obsessed fans, otherwise we would’ve never gotten through the dinner in peace.
“Um..I think I’ll have the fettucini alfredo.” I said, handing her my menu, taking a sip of ice water. Liam nodded and smiled at me.
“Make that two.” he said to Jenna. She walked away, carrying the menus and our order. Liam turned to look at me with a smile. “So. I’m really sorry about before with the fans.” he said, playing with the straw in his cup of ice water. I shrugged like it was no big deal.
“It’s fine. I mean, you’re a popstar, right? Kinda what you signed up for.” He laughed, his mouth curling up into a grin. I loved the way his eyes kind of looked almost closed when he laughed. It was so adorable.
“I guess so.” he said, leaning back in his chair. “But enough about me. Tell me about you.”
The rest of the evening was like an absolute fairlytale. Well, not really. But it was pretty damn close. After dinner, we went on a walk around the square and then through the park that was all lit up. He taught me how to skip rocks in the pond and even gave me his jacket when I began to shiver a little. I don’t know how many times I blushed that night. It was too far too count. He was just so perfect, I couldn’t stand it. As we pulled into the driveway after the night, he turned to look at me as he put the car in park, turning off the engine.
“Will you tell Niall I said nice try for me?” he asked before getting out and doing his routine of walking around the car, opening my door for me.
“It was that obvious, huh?” I asked. Liam nodded.
“The kids a terrible liar. I knew he was trying to set us up. Was it his idea?” It was my turn to nod, smiling softly. “But..you didn’t say no.” I added with a smirk. I had started to come out of my shell alittle and get more comfortable around him. Underneath all that glamor and fame, Liam was a normal teenage boy. He nodded.
“You’re right. I didnt.” Time froze on the spot as he leaned towards me, his eyes closed, lips puckered. I moved closer to him, holding my breath, peeking through my eyelashes at him.
“LEAH MARIE WARDMAN! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?”
Shit. Busted.

Bought my tickets for the One Direction concert! I bought the vip tickets, and I'm hoping that I'll get to meet One Direction also. Not just Big Time Rush. That's really the ONLY reason I bothered with the vip tickets so I really hope so!
Anyways, please comment or rate. I feel like I'm writing when no one's bothering to read it.
