Welcome to the dead parade
You left behind a girl who wished you stayed
Your mother is sobbing
Your fathers head is throbbing
Your sister is messing with any mister who says they can take the pain away
Remember the girl
you two would play pretend
On long summer days drinking cool lemonade
Wishing the bliss would never end
Remember the encouragement
She would send
Do you remember the pain she hid behind her smile?
Of course not !
I almost forgot
You took your life
Because you couldn't put up
With the bullies who wouldn't shut up
So you never saw
The cuts
That she hid under her sleeve
It broke her to see you leave
Oh look!
There she is!
Do you see her?
The one with the bleeding wrists
Under your hoodie she took from you so long ago
Let's go say hello
Hello sweety welcome to the dead parade
