I hate good byes
I hate your lies
I hate the people who hover like flies
I hate your sad eyes
You gave me wings
And told me I could fly
So I leapt
Falling over the edge
You gave me wings
and told me I could fly
But the pounding rain
Like needles in my brain
Devolved the glue
That kept me stuck to you
I started falling
But you swear I flew
I fell into despair
But you were too blind to care
When you realized that my wings never glided
Under the influence you decided
To say good bye
I hate goodbyes
A few weeks later
You came at me like I was the hater
Exclaiming "I love you! "
I hate your lies
rumors spread
Like a virus in the walking dead
I hate the people who hover like flies
Over the courtyard
I can see those puppy dog eyes
That I fell for so hard
I hate your sad eyes
You gave me wings
and told me I could fly
But still
You
Said
Goodbye
