Together Forever: Raph

Your POV

You were walking home from the mall with the other girls and April, other that (L/G) because Leo had already dragged her away before you all left.

''Why do you think he dragged her away so suddenly?'' you asked, turning your head to the other girls.

''I dunno maybe he wanted to propose haha'' April joked around, you gently elbow her on the shoulder making her giggle.

''What?! It could be plausible'' she said elbowing you back,

''guys stop talking about marriage, your making (D/G) blush haha'' (M/G) shouted, we looked over to them and sure enough she was so red she would put Raph's mask to shame. We all burst out into fits of laughter. Eventually we had to stop for a while so we took a break at the local park.

You sat down and started to think about it, you wouldn't really mind marrying Raph but you didn't think it would ever happen. He hated the idea of being soft so why would he do something sappy like propose to you. I mean when it was just you two alone he was as soft as a big teddy bear and you loved the fact that he would only show this side to you comfortably.

Suddenly you felt yourself get nudged in the shoulder you looked over to see a wide eyed April and the other two girl's jaws dropped, confused you looked up to see Raph in his human form. He for some reason looked super nervous and you started to worry. The Raph you knew would never act this way, April sensed something and whispered something to the other girls they nodded their heads and all walked across the park to get some ice cream.

Raph sat down beside you slowly, you placed your hands on top of his and looked into his electric green eyes concerned,

''Raphie? What's wrong why are you being so quiet? Its not like you'' he took a deep breath and tightened his grip on your hands.

''(Y/n), you know remember the first time we met? On the roof of your old apartment you know how you were super pissed off as was I but when we talked we seemingly calmed down. That's when we became friends?'' You nodded your head a little confused to where this was going but stayed quiet so he could continue,

''Well that day you taught me how to play the piano, something sparked in me, seeing that you had a secret passion that very few people knew about, how you were tough but had a soft side that you showed to nearly no-one. That was the day I realised that I had fallen in love with you. Then you know I asked you out the same way that you captured my heart.'' you still were really confused about where all this was headed so you tilted your head, Raph sighed and continued trying to find the right words.

''Uh i'm not good with this kind of thing but here I go, (y/n) we have been together for more than a year and I really love you so much, like to the point that it almost hurts sometimes. I hate seeing other guys around you and I hate it when your not right there next to me. I really want to take our relationship to the next step but I don't know how to...uh what I'm trying to say is.. uh..'' he stuttered fiddling with something small in his hands,

''uh screw it, screw Donnie's advice I'm doing this my way coz I feel like an idiot'' you giggled at his sudden outburst, you could see the other girls walking back from the stall apparently Raph did too because he stood up and instantly kneeled down in front of you.

''(Y/N) WILL YOU MARRY ME!'' he shouted opening a small box in his hand and looking down to the ground his cheeks turning bright red, you heard a gasp behind him and looked up to see that April had dropped her ice cream and was apparently holding her breath for your answer. The other two looked to each other and smiled back at you. 

You looked down again and looked at the ring in the rose box, it was a silver based ring decorated with small diamonds and three ruby flowers. It was beautiful you didn't think Raph chose it himself, but you were gonna ask him after you gave him your answer,

You kneeled down beside him and placed your hand on his shoulder making him look up at you, you smiled at him gently,

''Raphael Hamato, It would be my honour'' you said quietly. He instantly burst into a huge grin which you found adorable as he slid the ring on your finger and took your hands as you both stood up. He leaned in and kissed you, you wrapped your arms around him and kissed him back, you broke apart when you heard a squeal behind you.

You turned around to see April turning bright red, she looked like she was trying to not scream. (D/G) and (M/G) started to panic as she was starting to  turn blue from holding her breath, they grabbed their bags and said 'bye' to us before dragging April away in the direction of the lair.

You turned to Raph, he looked down to you smiling,

''Hey Raphie?'' you asked

''Yeah babe'' he replied entwining his fingers with your as you both started to walk around the park,

''did you pick this out yourself? Or did your brothers help you with that?'' he chuckled at the question as you laid your head on his shoulder,

''I may not be as good with these things as Donnie or Leo are but I know what you like. I thought you would like it, not too girly but still embroded with precious gems for a precious girl'' he whispered as he laid his head on yours.

''I love you so much Raph'' you say as you stop and press your forehead to his he smirked and leaned closer to you wrapping his arms around your waist,

''I love you more babe'' he whispered as he pressed his lips to yours once more sealing the promise of your union to each other.
