Chapter 7: Lockdown

I woke up with a throbbing ache in my side. I groaned and looked around. I was in a lab. My eyes widened and I tried sitting up, but it didn't work, I was being restrained.

"Well, looks like your up. You know, your creator was so foolish to try and hide you from me. I find what I want when I want.", A creepy Decepticon said.

"Who are you?", I asked, "I don't recognize you. If I did, I would be gone right now and I wouldn't have to listen to you talk. Your voice is annoying."

"The name is Lockdown. I'm a bounty hunter. I keep trophies from those I catch for Megatron.", Lockdown said and pointed to a lot of stuff, including my dad's mentor's helmet, "Let me see, what can I take from you. How about this."

Lockdown forced me into my Cybertronian mode and took something extremely valuable; my optics. All I felt was extreme pain. I couldn't see anything. I couldn't tell if I was awake, was asleep, blacked out, or in a coma. My vision was gone completely. I was too scared to scream.

"I suggest you get comfortable. Your going to be here for a while.", Lockdown said and I heard a door close.

I was shaking with fear and soon, I'll be unconscious. I stared at - well, I don't know what I was staring at - I assumed it was the celling. I closed my optic lids and fell into a fearful recharge.

I woke up the next morning to fighting. Had they found me? Was that dad and the other Autobots? Am I saved? I didn't speak, I was scared to. What if that was Megatron?

"I told you, she's alive!", Lockdown yelled.

"Then tell me why her optics are out and that she looks dead!", Megatron's voice erupted through the walls.

"I take trophies. You know that. I made sure that she wouldn't die.", Lockdown said.

They think I'm dead?! That's hilarious! Maybe I can get out of here and get back to my dad......back to the Autobots.

~with the Autobots ~ Prowl POV~

It's been a week since Lavanna died. Captain Fanzone and his team have been trying to figure out who killed her. He's been keeping me 'in the loop' with what's happening and what they find. So far there are no finger prints, no shoe prints, and no sign of struggle.

I'm worried that whoever did this is going after someone else. Sari came running in to my room panting like an Earth dog. Had she been looking for me for the past half hour?

"Captain Fanzone. On the phone. Has news.", she said between pants, I jumped down from the tree in my room and landed next to her.

She was sprawled out on the floor and looked exhausted as if she was running around. She connected her phone to my com unit.

"Captain? It's Prowl.", I said, letting him know that I was listening.

"You need to come to my office. It's important.", Captain Fanzone said and hung up.

Sari disconnected the phone and I transformed into my vehicle mode.

"Let Optimus know that I will be back.", I said then sped off toward the office.

When I arrived, I transformed when Fanzone came out.

"We were starting the autopsy not too long ago.", Captain Fanzone started.

"And?", I ushered him to go on.

"The body disappeared.", he finished.

"What do you mean 'disappeared'?", I asked.

"It was a hologram. Your daughter was kidnaped by someone and they're holding her hostage. The Energon was real, the body wasn't.", captain Fanzone explained.

"She's alive.", I said, astonished at how well a human created a holographic body.

"As far as we know, yes.", he answered, I nodded, "Go on back to your base. We'll see if we can find her."

"Thank you.", I said and headed back to base.

-time skip-

When I arrived, Optimus was the first to greet me.

"What's the news, Prowl?", Optimus asked, I smiled.

"She's alive.", I said, the others gathered around.

"What do you mean 'she's alive'? She had multiple stab wounds to her spark!", Ratchet exclaimed, more grumpier than usual.

"It was a holographic projection.", I answered, Ratchet's optics widened, "Something wrong?"

"Prowl, Fanzone wont find anything.", Ratchet said.

"Why?", I asked.

"Because, it wasn't a human that took Lavanna. It was a Cybertronian.", Ratchet said, my breath got caught in my throat when he said who it was, "Lockdown."
