chapter 3

 I walk into the hospital as fast as i can. I ask the lady at the front desk what room Nick Ryan is staying in

"Nick Ryan is room 126 miss Pierce"

"Thank you"

I quickly run off down the halls to find room 126 only now wondering how that lady new my name, i'll have to ask her later i have to find Nick. Im standing in front of room 126 scared on what is on the other side. I slowly twist the metal door handle and step in side. I look around the hospital room and find a bed with a sleeping Nick and some unfinished food. I walk over and tap him he slowly turns to face me.

"Alice" he says with a croaky voice "I'm glad your hear, why are you not at school?"

"After i herd what happened to you i didn't need a to FAKE sick to go home early"

" Thank you for coming Alice you look as beautiful as always"

I'm sure he notices my cheeks turn pink because he lets out a chuckle

"I love how you still blush over my words"

"How can i not" i slowly lean down and kiss him on the cheek, he smiles in return. "Do you know when you can go back to work?"

" 3 months"

"what even happened?"

"Are you sure you want to know it's pretty gruesome?"

"I can handle it"

"It was 5:15 this morning i was in my car on my way to the school and then i herd a noise on bloued avenue. No one was about so i got out to see what it was, i looked around the dark neighbourhood and noticed that every house was abandoned, i turned around to get back in the car then something scratched me down my back so deep i could see the pool of blood at the bottom of my shoes i went to run but something pulled me back and slammed me into the house and my leg broke next thing i knew it started biting me every where and i screamed but no one came then i past out. Now I'm here and i have more injuries then before."

"oh my god, I'm so sorry"

"It's not your fault an animal attacked me"

"How could an animal through you into a wall of house from the street?"

"I don't know and you shouldn't worry, go home i'll be fine"

"I miss you"

"I miss you too"

I lent down and gave him a kiss and then i left. As i walked past the front desk i wanted to ask that lady how she knew my name but when i got to the front desk she wasn't there. I asked the other lady at the front desk

"Um excuse me do you now where i can find the other lady who was here?"

"I'm sorry miss but there was no other lady here i have been by myself for the past 6 hours"

"but you walked right past her to get a drink"

"there was no lady here"

"But there was she let me see my friend in room 126"

"Im sorry you must leave and that room is off limits so you better not be seen in there again today young lady, please leave"

I walked off while i rolled my eyes. Now knowing that that other lady who was there before knew my name made me even more curious because i didn't get an answer i need a plan and i need help to do that.

I knocked on the door to Bethany's house. Bethany opens the door with a pissed look

"you where suppose to be here a half an hour ago?"
