I , sit beside him as that is the only seat available because Lauren has taken up the one seat sofa and Alex being Alex, took up the whole space on the three person sofa since he had spread his legs and his legs are long.

Anyway, there will be bbq that is made up by Mike's parents. And-" Before I could even finish my last sentence, my phone rang.

"JUSTICE WHR THE HELL ARE YOU I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU HERE FOR SUCH A LONG TIME" shit. I almost forget that my mom had want to go shopping with me.
"Ouh, uh. I'm at Avery house. Avery Johnson "
"Avery? Ohokay. It has been such a long since you guys talk. Go ahead then. I will be shopping alone. Its fine. "
Before I could say anything , she hung up. damn mum.
I put on a fake smile to tell them that everything is fine.
I look up but to notice that Avery was gone. "She went to the toilet " Alex informed me. He must have notice that I was searching for her.
"Well um, I better get going. " I stood up from my seat so do Alex and Lauren . "My mom actually wanted me to go shopping with her." We were at the door already.
"Okay then. See you around "

I was hiding in the toilet as it get very awkward in the living room.
"Avery! He's gone! " Lauren know me very well. I let out a big breathe or relief.

I woke up to a my phone ringing. Ugh. It was Cara. As much as I wanted to ignore the call and went back to sleep, but my love for her is more than my love for sleep.

I love sleep more but if I never pick up her calls, she would keep on nagging at me for the whole day. So, I pick up her call.
"Morning Ave. I'm just calling to let you know that we are going to your house after school to get ready and stuff. "

With that, I hung up. I squich my eyes to look at the time on my phone's nofication bar, to find it is 7.15 a.m. .School starts at 8. I have 45 minutes to get ready and be there.
I got up from my bed, and went Into the shower. I brush my teeth and comb my hair. I check the time to find it is 7.35. I went to the closet to pick out my outfit. I decided to wear a plain white T-shirt and black skinny jeans and wore white shoe.
I took my bag, pull out my phone from the charger and went downstairs to find everyone sitting on the couch waiting for me except for Alex. He probably went to school already.
"You are quite late today, Avery. " My mom informed me.
"Sorry "
My mom gave me a ziplog bag that contains my breakfast that I had missed just now. I hug my mom and Ariel goodbye and went our separate ways.
