Despair

(Even though the large lack of readers for the amount of time it takes to make these chapters anger got to me. Though I'm still great full for all your guys's reads and votes. I still somehow managed to make this piece of garbage)

'Death...is such a simple concept if you think about it. Everyone seems to over complicate it, but i've learned from my friends deaths that it's always there and can happen at anytime. Especially if the people around you that you trust and hold so dearly to your heart...let you down and allow you to be open to death..i'm sure that's how they felt when their lives were taken. I can't avenge their deaths or bring them back...but I will use my power to keep everyone here with me alive. And even though I can't avenge their deaths...I can use their deaths as an excuse to finally let out my bloodlust'

After the incident, everyone was on edge and always watching their backs while going through town. Her death had affected everyone in different ways. Bella didn't ever go into the woods unless she was with a large group of people. Akio rarely left the home, Cammy always carried an antidote on her, and well Holden...he wasn't exactly phased by it. Kōkina on thee other hand was probably taking it the worst. He now would always wear the mask of a fallen Laughing coffin higher up. Sometimes he would act like a completely different person during attacks and raids. He says he's normal, but his friends can't help but worry about him. The group that had helped them finish off the laughing coffin members were still in touch with them, but they never really talk.

[Eighteenth floor, Labyrinth]

Rain slowly landed on the hard concrete ground of the arena. Lightning and thunder was easily seen and heard from around the arena, while a loud roar came from the large beast that stood in the middle of the arena. The running footsteps of many people could be heard loudly as they ran through the wet area. They all stopped and looked at the large beast who was standing tall and firm, he had big abs and large muscles on his arm. He also had a large chest piece covering his chest. "Ok everyone, we need to make a good battle plan before we do anything else. Thank you for coming, Mindy, Dan, Rin, and Izayoi. We all should be able to take him out without anyone dying."

"Why don't we contact a big guild to come and help us to make this easier to do?" Izayoi smirked at Kōkina. He looked at him and shook his head. "The reward for this boss is supposedly something that can have you set for the rest of the game, if we have a lot of people then who knows who'll get what reward." Izayoi chuckled and equipped his sword. "I don't think its good that you're in it for the reward. Thats how people get killed." The beast roared and stomped its feet on the ground. "Okay guys, I think some of our fastest people should go in the front and get to his head. Then the others will flank around him and take his chest piece off. Then one of us stabs the heart and takes him out. One of us is bound to get the great reward." The whole guild, plus a few others decided to attack the boss because it was rumored to drop an incredibly power item. Akio however decided to not go with them as he was still a bit shook up. Kōkina, Izayoi, and Rin stayed in front of the beast. Dan and Mindy went to the left, Kissa and Holden went to the right. They all attacked at once, cAtching the monster off guard. Izayoi, Rin, and Kōkina jumped up and stabbed it's stomach, Kissa and Holden jumped onto its arm and began running up it. Dan and Mindy did the same. Cammy stayed back and began chanting a spell. A large black ball of electricity began forming in front of her. Dan and Mindy stabbed it's arms.

The monster roared and starting charging into the wall. Holden and Rin moved up to the back of the monster and started cutting at the straps of his armor, which had health. Underneath the armor was the monsters heart which couldn't be stabbed through the armor. Izayoi and Kōkina cut at the monsters legs, the monster kicked Izayoi in the stomach and flung him out the arena. "Cammy. I'm gonna need you to go help him. Forget about the spell and just go heal him." She sighed and ran to Izayoi outside. The arenas door closed, locking them out. "Crap. The plan was to get the monsters chest plate off then use her shot to kill it!"
